So as we've all seen in such a glorious way, Jessie, James, and Meowth have returned to reciting their original "Prepare for trouble!" "And make it double!" motto we've heard for the entire OS an AG. As much of a treat it was to hear them recite this and continue to recite it, why do you believe they've begun to recite their original motto again? Does it have anything to do with the fact that the writers have been trying to bring back some nostalgia as we've seen the return of Charizard, those flashbacks, and soon Ash's Butterfree?

There's a possibility.

Perhaps it was also meant to be part of a slow process to having them go back to their old selves.

I think that could be laregly to do with it. I suspect they got almost all negative feedback from the TR reboot and so to make it up for it they went back to basics. I don't think it'll last though, it's probably just a phase until they think up their new gimmick.

I expect to possibly see something new with them in X and Y if they stick around, but for now I'm just gonna enjoy the original motto and their wacky selves.

I don't think it means anything really. To be honest I was surprised they kept the original motto for Hoenn. Considering they were changing TR's team with Arbok/Weezing leaving I thought their motto would be altered.

I'm kind of annoyed they're still using slightly altered DP motto music, why not use the original music, a remix of the original, the BW motto music, or completely new music?
