Spin-Off Trozei → Mystery Dungeon

Last October, it was revealed through a Japanese magazine that Mystery Dungeon Blue is connectable with Pokémon Trozei. (Scroll to the bottom of this Bulbanews article.)

While I have found other mentions of this connectivity, I can not find any further information about it. Does anyone have any details?
 
Connecting the two gives you the chance to Trozei rarer Pokemon and I think you get some item in Mystery Dungeon for the trouble.
