Warning: this is ANTI-IKARISHIPPING! DO not post here saying that I didn't warn you!

Kenny sighed. These nights of working late to help his family were wearing him down. His boss, Mr Stevens, was merciless, and a sadistic person at that. He punished Kenny at every opportunity. But Kenny didn't have any other choice. His family needed the money, and there really wasn't any other place to work, other than at the mine in Oreburgh. But at least he got his one day off every two months. As he peddled down the street into Twinleaf town, he heard a scream coming from a house. But this was not just any house.

It was her house.

All this time, he couldn't get her off his mind, ever since she started going out with that idiot Paul. He just couldn't see what she saw in him. But as he rode up beside the house, a crash and another scream were heard, this one more high pitched.

Suddenly, she ran out, clutching torn clothing, and a tall, purple haired boy ran out, weilding a golf club.

Kenny dropped his bike and ran, running over to assist the blue-haired girl, who was begging for forgiveness. But the begs were to no avail. The teen raised the club above his head, preparing to tomahawk the girl right in the head, when Kenny tackled him from the side, throwing him off balance. Pinning him with the strength that he hadn't used from the long ride, he yelled,

"Run! Run! I can't keep him down for lon-ack!"

The purple-haired boy had released the club, and was now holding Kenny in a stranglehold, unpinning the rest of his body.
"So, the weasel finally returns, eh? Too bad she never chose you! And now she'll never be able to! Because she's mine! All mi-"

A high pitched scream arose from the boy's mouth, probably from the steel-tipped boot planted firmly in his crotch. That was Kenny's motto when he got into fights at work-play hard. When that doesn't work, play dirty.

He ran, down an alleyway, ignoring the screaming curses aimed his way. He ran, ignoring everything, until he just couldn't run any more.

And he saw her, filthy, and crying, lying in a storm drain, lost, and alone. He walked up, slowly, not wanting her to be startled. She looked pitiful, clothes torn, muck covering pretty much all of her body. She was a wreck.

She's still beautiful in my eyes. Kenny thought, remembering the days when they were young, and he had his crush on her. The days before Paul stole her away.

For THREE YEARS.

She looked up, tears still streaming own her face, whimpering, and threw her arms around him, crying.

"Kenny! Kenny! I'm so sorry, I'm so sorry, I'm sorry, I'm sorry..." He hugged her back, eminating an aura of saftey and security around her.

".........
..........
..........
................There's nothing to be sorry about."

She looked in his smiling face, tears still brimming her eyes, her lower lip twitching, and smiled.

He spoke softly, but with the confidence that a commander leading eminates to his men. "Dawn, I love you. Always have, always will. An nothing in the infinitness that is space will change that."

And with that, he pulled her into a kiss.

And to him, and to her, all was right with the universe.

...And thats how you're mother and I really did go together, Kevin."

"Wow."

"Wow indeed. Now go help your sister with her homework. Arceus knows she'll need it."

"OK! See ya dad!"

As Kenny watched his youngest son run from the room, he reflected. Ironically, if it hadn't been for Paul, Dawn and Kenny wouldn't have ever really known each other. But he was long gone. And know he had his kins life to set on the right course.

But right now, Kenny wanted to go and see his wife, one of the greatest treats of life.

And so he did.

I got that too. Sorry. It's my first one. And it was 10:00 at night, eastern time, so I was tired. Even so, I guess that it went well.
