Two editions of Pokémon Special?

So after much waiting I have managed to get volume 21... and there was a quite noticable change between the magazine version and the book version.

The first scan is from the magazine. The next two scans are the equivalent in the book. One page has been expanded to three... or more precisely, one frame.

Moreover, what Ruby says is also expanded - though the meaning is essentially the same.

I don't know anything about the third picture you posted, since I haven't seen the magazine equivalent of that scene, but I did notice the difference between the first two scans you posted.

There was also a change in the Deoxys adaptation from the time it was printed in CoroCoro and the time it was collected into a tankouban. In the magazine version, a robot dog greets our heroes to LaRousse City, but in the tankouban, the dog is changed into one of the Block Robots (and is given different dialogue). So Pokemon Special isn't alone here.

For reference purposes, which pages are those scenes taking place? I'll make sure to look out for them when I read the volume (I bought Volume 21 a few weeks ago).
