I found some more Diamond and Pearl books on Amazon today.

The first is, predictably, Prima's fully comprehensive Pokedex. It costs $20.

The second is a Sinnoh Handbook, published by Scholastic. It only costs $7 and appers tailored to an elementary school audience (for ages 8-12). I'm going to guess that the obvious spelling error will be fixed before the book comes out. (Seriously, "Shinnoh"?)

I don't particularly like Prima's guides, they are always mispelling a Pokemon's name, or getting some information wrong, which always gets on my nerves because they had plenty of time to get it right.

If I'm not mistaken, "Shinnoh" was the proper spelling given for the English name of the region.

Well that's just... stupid. The Japanese name was Shinou, right?

It would have totally worked with the 'h'. Odd they didn't keep it.

Oh well.

Wow. They're putting out a Pokemon handbook? I thought they stopped doing that, seeing as they didn't have one for the third gen.

They did, but it was seperated into types. As in a book for Ghost and Dark Pokemon, Grass and Bug, etc.

Will the Pokedex have 493 Pokemon in it with locations and what not? You think Prima is bad? The Brady Games book for Colosseum messed up the pics for Muk and Grimer by reversing them, as well as Machoke and Machamp.

The prima guide skipped the last few things you have to do to complete the game in firered/leafgreen.
