Two Questions...HELP!!!

Ok, the first and foremost question, isn't really a question, but a problem: every time I login to Bulbapedia, it for some unexplainable reason after clicking through a few pages it automatically log outs, i don't know what is happening, could some one help me out. The second problem, is about my signature: my signature writing appears just fine, but the picture doesn't show up. I have the pic uploaded to my computer and whenever I put the address in and press upload, the pic. will appear in the box above but whenever I try to save it or preview my signature, the pic. won't come up! Could someone, anyone HELP ME!!!
 
Is the picture uploaded on something like photobucket? If so use

[*img]insertlinkhere[/*img]

Take out the *
 
1. I don't really know... if I log into Bulbapedia, it'll keep me logged in for days. -_-

2. Then upload it to Photobucket. When I started using signature banners, I had to get a Photobucket account and just use the tags.

And I've found that it's a lot easier to upload stuff to Photobucket and just use the link and [img] tags instead of posting images as attachments or uploading them directly from your computer, which pretty much only works for avatars.

So... yeah. Hope that helped.
 
Thanks for that but it didn't work but then again I maybe doin somethin wrong, and also if someone could refer me to who I would need to talk to about the Bulbapedia problem.

I've been having the same problem since day 1.

I use IE and I have the same problem exept when I uploud the image from photobucket, the thing says that its and invalid URL. I tried it on the actual writing area and the thing that you type URLs into. It wont work that way, either.

EDIT: I figured it out. I took the img from photobucket and pasted it into the writing part of my sig, then, I went to the parts that said [*IMG] and [*/IMG] (with no star) and erased them and re-wrote them as [*img] and [*/img] (still with no star) and it worked fine. Yay!

It's called the Remember Me Button. It helps you keep logged on to anything. Sometimes I use it and sometimes I don't. If you have it checked off for some reason, in some places, it'll automatically log you out after 10 MINUTES OF INACTIVITY. It depends on the site, but this is bulbapedia they're talking about so I'd have no clue. I never tried to log onto there.

You uploaded the pic to the forum? In your signature type [*sigpic][*/sigpic] (without the *s).

Sorry guys this Beta Trip left my brain a bit scrambled?
 
If you copy the picture from photobucket, you will have things at the beginning and end of the coding that says [IMG*] and [/IMG*] but they will not have the stars there. You post it in the writing part of your signature, and then you erase the IMG at the beginning and the end of the coding and make them lowercase. som IMG and /IMG would be img and /img.
 
Milotic, you're reading part of the answers to the other questions.

Make your cookie settings less restrictive, if you want, I'd say...but of course that comes with some risk, so do it at your own risk.
