Just heard this on the news...

A Texan woman beheaded her three and a half week old baby and dismembered several parts of the body. Afterwards, she actually ate part of the baby's brain. Passerby say that the woman was heard screaming that she had killed her child after the Devil had told her to.

This women needs the death penalty if guilty, what she did is sick.
 
I hope this whole story was fiction. 2009 and the devil is posessing mothers to eat their baby's brain.

Severe post-natal depression. A law or medical student could tell you more about it than me, but basically after birth the mother becomes extremely depressed and psycotic as a result of post-natal depression (also known as the Baby Blues). In some occassions, she will become so psychotic that she attempts to kill her own children. And evidently in this situation she succeeded.

It's a more common defence for infanticide than you might think.

Maybe if the Judge says the Devil told him too, this lady will get the death penalty and we will never have to hear about her again.
