Typhlosion joins the fray in Pokémon UNITE — Obtain its Unite License via the Johto Adventure Challenge event till May 20th

Typhlosion is the latest Pokémon to join the fray in Pokémon UNITE. Typhlosion is a Ranged Attacker with Intermediate difficulty that deals Special damage. Players can obtain Typhlosion's Unite license via the Typhlosion Johto Adventure Challenge event until May 20th, where they can complete missions to obtain special coins which can be exchanged for a variety of prizes. Players can also use the code TYPHLOSION in the in-game gift exchange to receive a 3-day rental license for Typhlosion.

Typhlosion Moves Overview​

Typhlosion starts off as Cyndaquil, and evolves into Quilava at level 5 and into Typhlosion at level 7. It has the ability Blaze, which increases its rage on damaging an opponent. Upon reaching max rage, the Pokémon's Sp. Atk increases, its moves are boosted, and cooldowns are reduced.

Typhlosion's first move slot consists of Ember, which can upgrade into Eruption. Ember attack 2 opponents by shooting small flames. Eruption launches flames skyward 3 times, which then rain down on opponents and deal damage.

Typhlosion's second move slot consists of Tackle, which can upgrade into Flame Wheel. Tackle has the user slam into the opponent with its whole body, dealing damage and slowing them, and also granting itself a shield. Flame Wheel has the user charge forward after coating itself in fire, damaging opponents and leaving them unable to act. The user is granted a shield and also throws Pokémon upon hitting them when at peak rage.

Typhlosion's Unite Move is Explosive Heat Haze, which has the "Melee" and "Buff" effects. The user creates a shock wave by rubbing its blazing fur together, dealing damage to nearby Pokémon and shoving them. The surrounding area is then engulfed in searing flames, dealing damage over time to opposing Pokémon. The user also blends into the searing flames and becomes hard to see, and opposing Pokémon outside of the flames are unable to target it.
