I was watching shows on the Discovery Channel, about eye-witness accounts of seeing UFO's flying. The eye-witnesses described the UFO like this: It had three big, round white lights. Two at the back of the bottom of the UFO, and one at the front of the bottom of the UFO. Then little red lights in the center. What do you think about UFO's? Are they fake or real? Please vote and then post why! Thanks! I don't know if they are real or not. They just scare me... :uhoh:

The phenomenon itself is real. However, that doesn't mean that its caused by little grey men in interstellar space craft.
 
There HAS to be UFOs, because the universe is so large, over zillions of different planets.
Maybe we see them someday, ;-)
 
I again just watched other shows of UFO's. Everytime I watch more shows about UFO's, I believe they exist. Too many eyewitnesses.... Do you think that over thousands of witnesses just saw something from their imagination? I don't, but that's just my opinion.

I believe in intelligent life on other planets, because the universe is so infinite. However, I think that they are so smart, that if they were to visit in UFOs, they would instantly cause us to arm weaponry, which would frighten them. Or, maybe they live so far away, that they decided it'll take too long to get here.

Really though, I know nothing about this. However I think I remember something about life on Earth starting really early in the universe's life? So maybe we're the most advanced things here. Or maybe there is some kind of intelligent life out there that ask the same questions about us. OR MAYBE WE'RE THE ONLY LIFE IN THE UNIVERSE BECAUSE OF THE GIANT TRAVELING BLACK HOLE THAT DESTROYS STARS QUICKLY, AH! Who knows!?
 
I believe there is life, and very possibly "intelligent" so other than us in the universe, but the fact that they can in the first place get here seems very unlikely, as it takes so much more than even a human lifetime to reach the closest stars in which we could find life. And if 'they' somehow managed too, why would they hide?

I have seen many programs with people claiming to have seen UFOs, but never believe them. It always turns out to be something else, and always will.
But I have to admit I am intrigued when seeing recordings of such stuff, even though I know it's not for real.

So, I believe that there are other lifeforms out there, but no unidentified objects in our skies, thank you very much.
 
The flying saucers are U.S. military technological prototypes. Aliens are only a cover story.
 
Yes, there are unidentified flying objects. Whether they're alien spacecraft is another question entirely.
 
yes but i guess that none of you people know that ....hmm i cant remember the year......sometime during a world war 2......anyways the germans invented an engine that created its own gravitaional field for better movement in supreme weather conditions...... in tests the inventor said "there was a slight humming sound and that was it that was all the sound it made" no a week later after announcement 'gogogo **** **** man down ahhhh kill the ****ers' KKKKKKAAAAABBBBBBBOOOOMMMMMMM!!!!!!!! then after the war until this day ufo's have been going 'ape shit' all over the world.....most described as making a slight humming sound.........i wonder if germany will try to take back its technology.........maybe they did during the war but to no avail........i wouldnt be surprised if america was getting nuked and invaded anytime soon by the germans........although it would be sad and provoke a war, and yet again split the world.........it would all be in retaliation........


p.s. i dont have anything against the germans but you guys did invent the technology......

p.p.s. my brother told me all this and he has delved into books, history, first hand accounts, etc

One time I was watching Unsolved Mysteries and um, all these ladies who had weird memory gaps got hypnotized and it turns out they saw UFOs or got abducted or something and all of them had something wrong with their reproductive systems and um, also that same story was the plot for a lot of X-files episodes but I digress.

Aliens? Or a gorvernment conspiracy? I can't say either way, 'cause they could be right behind me. *shiver*

But anyway, they've got to be real one way or the other. And even if they aren't, life's too short and believing in all manner of unproven things makes it that much more interesting. Plus, I agree with the general consensus that we have this whole big universe and one liveable planet would be a total waste of space.
 
UFOs, of course. But a UFO could be anything. If I threw a potato past your face and you didn't know what it was, it would be a UFO.

As for aliens. I think they could be somewhere in the universe, but I highly doubt that's what the UFO's are. I think the idea that it's a secret government project sounds more accurate to me.

Do I believe UFOs exist? Of course!
While I do believe there are alien lifeforms outside of our planet and that I believe it is possible they could have mastered interstellar travel, but most UFO sightings can be explained as being caused by something earthbound, like a plane, flocks of birds, a glare from the sun or even the classic weather balloon, the examples are endless.

But I will say there are a few cases that anyone would be hard pressed to explain. But then again, we still have no real solid proof, but that's what makes it interesting. :ksmile:

*facepalms* A UFO is basically any flying object in existence which has not been identified. So, yeah, of course that shit exists. As far as extraterrestrial spacecrafts are concerned, I definitely think they exist, which means that extraterrestrial beings themselves exist and I think that these extraterrestrial beings have mastered interstellar travel and have been visiting Earth since time immemorial.
 
So, what part of the UFO would be considered the "real or fake"? Of course, you probably meant "UFOs: real or fake". Yeah I'm a bit of a grammar nazi.

Anyway, like other people said, given the massive size of the Universe, it's likely that life exists on other planets. Recent discoveries show that planets are a pretty common feature around stars, and if panspermia turns out to be true, then chances are that life is pretty abundant in the Universe. So given that, intelligent life probably evolved on other planets. Now whether that intelligent life traveled thousands of years, or found some way to overcome special relativity just so that they could come here and explore the mysteries of the human anus is another question entirely. I personally think it's more likely that UFOs are just that. Flying objects (created by humans) that people can't identify.
