I have only had one review and over 70 views on my current fanfic and no one has attempted to review or comment. Not only that, I posted on the beta reader request thread requesting a beta reader and no one bothered to pm or vm me. I have already written six chapters and only posted the first two. I have been waiting for someone to review but none came after possibly over two weeks since the fanfic was posted and still none bothered to. If anyone is willing to beta read throughout my fanfic I would appreciate it, It is a pokemon/sailor moon crossover. And here is the link if your interested: http://bmgf.bulbagarden.net/f227/pokemon-negaverse-rising-114352/:ohdear:

1) If you have the next chapter, I'd possibly recommend posting it. Your fic has fallen off the first page, which pretty much cuts out a good chunk of your potential reviewers. Getting it up there and in the public eye is probably the only thing you can do.

2) Posting about it here isn't going to endear you to potential readers; you sound just the tiniest bit butthurt, which is never a good thing. It sounds a bit like a desperate plea, and that's not going to make people want to review. What you can do is go around and review other people's work. They will be more likely to reciprocate then. To that end, you could try this thread.

3) Crossovers tend to be less popular than other stories because not everyone on this forum will be as familiar with Sailor Moon - or whatever else - as they can reasonably be expected to be with Pokemon. For this reason, there will probably be less people willing to read your fic. When I look at Pokemon crossover fanfiction - which is rarely - I immediately discount stories crossing into fandoms I'm unfamiliar with, because I know I'll have a harder time following the story. So don't be discouraged, and wait for the Sailor Moon fans to come in.

I believe this is the, what, seventh thread you have made about needing reviews?

I'm just going to restate what I've said time and time again: read and review OTHER fics. Getting your name out there with just your stories isn't going to work.

Please, stop advertising your fics. Readers come in through their own means, you have to trust them to be smart enough to choose.
