As I saw the Pokemon Green cartridge, I noticed it had no label. But I was reluctant to pass up a Japan only exclusive. I grabbed it and gave it to the cashier, but he couldn't see what game it was. So I only had one option.. I stole it. It was a little irrashional, but it was the only thing to do. I ran home as fast as I could, each step closer to my Game Boy Advance.
Nor did I care about the law or the authority, I finally got to the front door. I had no idea where my parents were, but at least I got the cartridge. I ripped out Dragon Quest Monsters and I put the game in. The Game Freak logo made my eyes sparkle.
Days later, I was on to the 4th gym badge. So I explored through the deep cave and made it to Lavender Town with only my Blastoise and Butterfree by my side. I healed up, and I noticed a big tower near the northeast part of the town.
So I went in, and I suddenly got a headache. I took an Advil to ease my pain, but it didn't help. I saved and decided to take a break, but under 6 minutes later, I started playing again. Until I got to the top of the tower. I saw grave after grave along the walls. I know it wasn't scary, but I still had a headache, and I started getting queasy. I battled the man at the top, and I apparently saved someone called MR. FUJI. I didn't know who he was, but he gave me a nice POKE' FLUTE when I got out of the tower. Then I remembered the man's pokemon. It was a Marowak.
Later, after doing a little research with my strategy guides, and I found out that Marowak was an evolution of Cubone, one of my favorite pokemon at the time. I really wanted a Cubone, so I tried to find one. No luck. I went on, but suddenly I got the flu when I reached Seafoam Islands.
And so, I tried to navigate through the maze, and I got out. Suddenly, I felt better. So I sailed on my Blastoise to the 7th gym. I still had Blastoise and Butterfree, but I also had Kadabra, Hypno and Articuno with me, too. I remembered. I got this weird amber thing at Pewter City. I talked to this weird guy, and the amber turned into a Pokemon! Amazing! But after that, I felt really sick....
Unknown queasyness, loss of eyesight and slight vomiting. At least that's what the doctor said. I'd be better in a few weeks, but Pokemon brought me back in. I kept pushing on until I reached the 8th gym..
Giovanni! That slug was the 8th gym leader all along! I fought with all my might, and I beat all 8 gyms.. I was so happy, I almost cried. But my challenge wasn't over yet.
Having to beat the Elite 4 will be my biggest challenge yet. With a week of training, I beat all 4 members!.. and here's where my jaw dropped.
Turdsicle Gary was in the way! I found out I had to battle him once AGAIN. So I survived with my Blastoise having only 12HP left. I'm done! I left my impression on the Kanto region! WOOOOOO!
Even Professor Oak was there to congratulate me. He said.. I had to catch ALL OF THE POKEMON EVER IN THE HISTORY OF EVER? RAAHDG. Oh well. So after about 6 months, I caught all 150 Pokemon. I looked through the strategy guide, nothing to do. But there was still hope. My mother and father recently bought a computer to do their taxes. The last resort, look on the internet.
Rushing to find 'cool things to do in Pokemon Green' on Google wasn't that hard. But then I saw it.. 'MissingNO' ...I read through this so called 'glitch' thuroughly. I dusted off my Game Boy an started up the game. The save file was still there. So I followed the instructions.
Either I did it right, or I saw a weird block with static inside of it. Then I remembered the tone. LAVENDER TOWN. I felt sick, but I can't turn off the game. I tried to turn the volume down, but it just got louder. I was vomiting all over the floor, and I ran into the kitchen.
Dinner time was among us. I saw my mother and father.. Bruised.. Beaten..
