Squishmallows, which is a frequent collaborator with the Pokémon brand, has announced their newest duo of plushes coming to the Pokémon lineup: Eeveelutions Umbreon and Espeon. Meanwhile, the Pokémon Center Online, which only serves customers in Japan, has four new Mega Evolution plushes available today. The new plushes are all Mega Evolutions which debuted in Pokémon Legends: Z-A, including Mega Starmie and Mega Greninja.Umbreon and Espeon are the 23rd and 24th Pokémon Squishmallows in the lineup, following Eevee, some first-partner Pokémon, and three different Pikachu, among others. Details have not been announced regarding their release, however all the previous Pokémon Squishmallows have debuted first at the Pokémon Center websites outside Japan with an exclusive Poké Ball embroidery before making their way to other major retailers. Again, while not confirmed for Umbreon and Espeon, all previous Pokémon Squishmallows have debuted first at 12 inches tall and for $29.99 USD. No release date is currently scheduled.
Some more concrete details are available for the new Mega Evolution plushes at the Pokémon Center Online. Mega Starmie and Mega Greninja are available now for ¥5,500 ($33.89 USD), while Mega Zeraora and Mega Lucario Z are available for ¥6,050 ($37.28 USD). Each stands between 36 and 53 cm (~14 and 21 inches) tall, with Greninja being the tallest due to its extra long tongue. These four plushes are not currently available via Amazon Japan, but may make their way to Pokémon Center websites serving other countries, as many previous interesting plush collections have.
