New Zealand retailer Mighty Ape has posted listings for Pokémon HeartGold and SoulSilver, with a release date of April 23, 2009. This release date may not be the final date.

No, part of the Celebi event will involve you going back to April 23, 2009 to take a copy of the game to yourself in the future, causing a self-fulfilling paradox.

That was predictable, but it is weeks after the gamestop predictid date (April 1, 2010)

I still think March. April 23 is the day after DP's third anniversary.

Its unusual how Oceania is the first english region to have a 'release date', its probably a placeholder, though G/S did come out there before the US back in the day.

I am not going to get too excited or anything like that, but it “sounds” right, since it’s around the time of the year that it’ll be released. It’s just wait and see at this point.

Release dates tend to change, especially ones for titles that were announced earlier and HGSS was announced in the US before it even came out in Japan.

lol, why don't we wait until 2010 to start debating weather release dates are correct or not, they're probably all placeholders at this point.

I'd have to agree. It just seems that March would be about right for the U.S. release.
