If you remember an unfair or lucky battle you experienced in a Pokemon Game, please post it here. In the Battle Factory, I got up to Nolan with a Ludicolo, Slaking and Charizard. First, my Ludicolo was against a Walrein. I kept using Double Team for three turns, while the Walrein used Ice Beam and Surf. Then, it uses Fissure, and it hits, even after I used three Double Teams. Then my Charizard lost to Walrein because of Surf, then I beat Walrein with my Slaking, but his second Pokemon, Exeggutor, beat my Slaking with Psychic. I could have won if that Fissure didn't hit... I beat Nolan Two days ago, though, so it doesn't matter now. Yay!

I swear, I've experienced so many haxes in XD. Maybe it's just because you're trying to battle and defeat you opponent while at the same time catch their Pokémon...especially against the Admins. Most of them always scored criticals at the worst possible times, and so would I, when I would try and catch their Pokémon.

Gorigan was fairly random in using Protect, to I had a hard time with him. I got lucky both times I beat him.

BUT, the battle that relies the most on luck is the battle with Grand Master Greevil. Six Shadow Pokémon you want to catch, and most of their attacks are super-effective? You tell me that's not luck if you manage to catch all his Pokémon without whiting out. Then again, I purified most of my Pokémon. I hated Reverse Mode.

I used shadow pokemon to catch shadow pokemon. Vs Greevil I went in with a 5 shadow team (Lugia making the 6th slot).

It's been a while since I battled opponents hard enough where them lucking out would cost me the fight (havn't Battle Tower/Battle Frontiered etc. recently). Battle Factory tends to beat me horribly though, my rentals never pull through and the opponent only needs one crit hit to bust through my feeble defence.

The Tower and Orre Colosseums in Colosseum of course. Not to mention the Orre Colosseum in XD.

I totally forgot to mention the Frontier. Yes, same with the Battle Factory for me, and the Battle Palace.

Edit: I totally forgot about the Battle Pike. Heck, Lucy (which is "lucky" without the "k") is even in charge of the Luck Symbol. Gosh, she was annoying.

When I had to catch Dragonite on XD I spent a few hours training my team so I could get it, I just kept losing to Mirror B, but I have it now and I have to purify it, I have already purifed the other Pokemon inculding Lugia.

Sorry for sounding stupid, but in which game do you get to go to the Battle Frontier?

Emerald,I don't know if this counts I use cufuse ray and the AI pokemon hit me for 5 full turns and then hit it's self but it was to late had to switch out.The funny thing is when they use cufuse on me I can't hit them.

Pretty much all my Battle Frontier battles have been unlucky, I haven't necessarilly lost them all, but all the opponents moves hits, every move paralyzes, confuses, poisons, burns or freezes and their type match-up is perfect. Once I was fighting a trainer in Battle Tower, I had a Swampert,a Salamence and a Metagross. His first pokemon a Sceptile, second a Glalie and third a Ninetales, I'd beat one the next would crush me it was impossible.

The Game: Blue
The Battle: Vs. Lt. Surge

Way back in my early days, I didn't get the whole type chart, much less raising your team evenly, so at this point, I had a very strong Wartortle, a decent Pikachu, and everyone else horrendously underleveled.

The battle begins, and Wartortle brings down Voltorb and Pikachu with relative ease...only to fall when Raichu came out.

At this point, I could've paniced and reset. But, I had watched "Electric Shock Showdown on TV just a few hours earlier...

That gave me a crazy idea: Why not do what Ash did in that episode?

So, I summoned Pikachu, and the duel continued...and ever so slowly, Pikachu brought Raichu down.

One time me and a Friend used that Record Corner and I had
Lv100 Zapdos,Suicune and Dragonite on me for the Secret Bases. Now my friend was entering the Battle Tower(he had Ruby)and would you beleive it a computer dude(with my name) calls out Zapdos,Suicune and ............DRAGONITE!!!
How strange is that?
He was only a BUG Catcher for crying out loud
which brings me to my next comment isnt it a bit weird that they almost never have what they should-Hikers hardly ever have Rock types,Swimmers with Water types etc

also, how do you start a thread. i have some great ideas for threads but no idea how to add them

well...

Depends on which game none on Pokemon but in Paper Mario 2 the Shadow Queen part 2 had 1HP left and she beat me!!!!

Typhlosion In Repose: F.E.A.R. is fun, isn't it?

Noland is a haxxor with a GameShark. I swear that Kingdra had six moves...0_0 Oh, and let's not even talk about 1-Hit-KO moves.

However, I got really lucky on Lucy. Ironic, eh?

And then there was the time I beat Norman with 1 Pokemon that had 2 HP left.

Beating the Elite 4 on Pearl with my Palkia, who used Quick Claw to go before Milotic. He used Spacial Rend and took off all her HP apart from a smidgen. I nearly cried, then realised Abomasnow summoned a hailstorm two turns earlier. Niiiice...
And any battle with Chansey/Blissey. All the seem to do is Pound (which does nothing, 5 or 6 HP at the most) and Softboiled. It takes me about 2q0 minutes to fall one of these, though the amount of experience points Rhydon gets when he faints one of these is phenomenal.

A year ago I went up against Greta of the Battle Arena. I started with Swampert as she led off with Heracross. Swampert used two Surf attacks against the leading Heracross, which used two Megahorns to subjugate Swampert. Next, Armaldo knocked out Heracross with an Ancientpower, but the same would not be as effective against Umbreon. Latios was next against Umbreon, and used Fly twice to little effect. After the first Fly, Umbreon used Supersonic, confusing Latios. At the end of this portion, a full-HP Latios and Umbreon were evaluated: Latios won on account of skill and guts, but since Umbreon had been damaged before Latios came out, Umbreon won the HP ruling. Still, Latios moved on to face Shedinja, whom Latios defeated with one Fly. Latios was never damaged on account of its confusion.
