The early Pokémon watercolor style was made famous by Ken Sugimori, who refined and standardized the look of many Pokémon with his illustrations. Indeed, all the t-shirts in the new Uniqlo collection use these retro watercolor artworks in their designs. Five different adult t-shirts, each available in sizes XS - 4XL, will retail for ¥1,990 ($12.73 USD), and five t-shirts in kid’s sizes will retail for ¥990 ($6.33 USD) each.
Though this collection is currently Japan-only, it may be launched for other regions in the future. It was announced on Uniqlo’s English-language Instagram, and Uniqlo's previous Pokémon collab was launched worldwide.
