Hi guys! As you know, Unova is based in New York and we can see the comparation between a lot of Unova cities and New York places there:

Pokémon world in relation to the real world - Bulbapedia, the community-driven Pokémon encyclopedia

However, more of one month has passed since BW2 release and there isn't still any info about what places are the base of the new localizations.

So, what NY places are the base of:
-Aspertia City (important)
-Sangi Town (important)
-Sangi Ranchs
-Oath Woods
-Virbank City (important)
-Yamaji Town (important)
-Marine Tube (important)
-Seigaiha City (important)
-Nature Sanctuary


BTW, what place are the base of Anville Town and Black City/White Forest?

Apertia City and probably Sangi Town appear to be based off the suburbs of northern New Jersey.

Virbank City and Virbank Industrial Complex is definitely based off Jersey City.

Segiaha City might be loosely based off the waterfront towns of Long Island.

Yamaji Town is definitely not based on anywhere in the NY metropolitan area.

Wouldn't Segiaha City be based in some part of Queens or Connectitut?
 
Virbank Industrial Complex is similar to the oil refineries and tanker area between Exits 10 and 13 along the NJ Turnpike (in the towns of Elizabeth, Linden, etc.) aka "Stereotypical Jersey." The area is shown starting at around 0:43 in the Sopranos intro (the "Drive Safely" tank is part of it).

Aspertia, the ranch, and the woods probably represent the suburban/ rural areas of Central/ Northern NJ. (There's also the biggest wilderness area between NYC and DC, the Pine Barrens, in South Jersey.)

And Seigaiha City? Is the city I'm more interested (suddenly a beach city with the 8th Gym Leader in Unova northeast lol). Seeing some maps, it looks like souther Connectitut but I'm not sure, and since ALL Eastern Unova seems to be in Queens...
