Unova PRP: Beating the Gyms

Welcome~! This is Unova, 3 years after Team Plasma has been defeated, 5 kids, 2 rivals, and the new kid all go out to travel and collect the badges. They decide to all meet up in Professor Juniper's lab to get started. Due to lack of starters, here are some possible extras...

Here is my character...

Name: Nicolette DeStanzo
Age: 12
Personality: She is quite pushy and obnoxious, and hates when things don't go her way. But she normally is nice, and some-what pleasant to be around. She loves to randomly match people together, and call them "cute" or "hawt". Ironically, she can be VERY oblivious.
Appearence: She is attractive, but she doesn't see it. She's self concious about herself, always wearing a big black t-shirt with dark green shorts up to her thighs. She has brown spikey hair, and sometimes will wear her "Diddie hat", her Ditto in the shape of a fedora. She has green eyes, and wears black combat boots.
History: She has divorced parents, and doesn't like her dad and step-mom. She couldn't wait to go on her trip with her four friends. She has always lived in Undella town, but she and her friends all met up with Professor Juniper to get their Pokedexes and Pokemon.
Pokemon:
Diddie - Ditto- Sneaky, loves to play tricks with Nikki.
Twix - Vulpix - Sweet, loves chocolate. (Nikki has a Fire Stone, but is waiting untill her other Pokemon evolve

At Professor Juniper's lab... (For the 5 kids.)
Professor Juniper sighed, she felt bad about not having proper starters for all of the kids...She fixed up all of the pokeballs, and placed them by each other. She than took out the 5 Pokedexes and put them by the balls. The kids should be here any minute now!
Route 1.... (For the new kid)
The child ran and ran after hearing Professor Juniper was handing out starters and Pokedexes...
Route 1(For the rivals)
The boy and girl ran side by side, fearing that the good Pokemon will be gone. (You are a bit ahead of the new kid)

Name: Sammy Tolan
Age: 12

Personality: Sammy is a young smart girl, who likes to thing things though, she tends to get carried away and ignore people that aren't agreeing with her. she like to have her way, and can be sassy when she wants to be..

Appearence: Sammy has black hair and green eyes, which she keeps in a braid, she wears a yellow shirt with a green leaf on it. she also has a brown jacket and black pants. she wears Brown boots and matching gloves.

History: Sammy was raised up in Nimbasa City, where the bright lights and flashiness always excited her. she was sent to a private school where she learned the basics of battles. she found them investing, and studied over time, this made her cocky, even thought she had never battled before.

Pokemon: Tynamo(female, not breed)
Tynamo, is a very shy pokemon, and only come out when asked, it tends to just float around and do little, until an attack is called.

Sammy hurried to the lab, hoping to her her pokemon. "I hope I'm not late" she thought as she reached the door.

Name: Jakku Ebansu
Age: 13
Personality: Sharp-witted and sarcastic, but fiercely loyal if needs be. He finds it hard to be strict with Pokemon during training, and despises anyone who would harm them. He can be dozy, and yawns often. He finds it amusing to antagonise hot-headed people.
Appearence: Five foot six, with cropped brown hair. Jakku wears black glasses, and has green eyes. He tends to wear a t-shirt and jeans, with baseball boots. He has a trenchcoat and climbing boots stowed away for harder climates. He carries his equipment in a rucksack with a sleeping back tied across the top. The rucksack has a Munchlax face on it, asleep.
History: Aged ten, Jakku's parents moved to Unova from Kanto, forcing Jakku to cease his Pokemon training until they'd settled in Unova. He decided to train his Pokemon more before leaving, so he's only just leaving now. He found his Starter Pokemon in the woods during a forest fire, so he decided to keep it.
Pokemon: Larvitar *Cato*
Moves: Dragon Rage, Bite

Jakku woke up, dangling halfway out of his bed.
He yawned, took off his pyjamas, got dressed, and was brushing his teeth when he realised what day it was.
He stretched, got some toast, and lazily headed for Juniper's Lab.
 
Name: Calvin & Camille O'Brien
Age: 12

Personality: Calvin is a guy of very few words, and even fewer facial expressions. Being a very investigative person by nature, his attention is drawn by anything out of the ordinary. He is always blunt and to the point about any subject, almost seeming to others to not like the sound of his own voice. In actuality, he dislikes most peoples' voices, and as such, prefers to end conversations as quickly and professionally as possible with said people. He can't stand being around large groups of people, to the point of eventually having an anxiety attack if he doesn't force his way out of the situation, or fails. He enjoys groups of few people, and loves Pokémon. He has been known to use big words, and occasionally read a dictionary.

Camille isn't nearly as talkative as girls are stereotypically described to be. Her investigative nature draws her to anything she sees as out of the ordinary. She has often been thought to be a mute by some; others think she doesn't like the sound of her own voice. She is by no means shy, but doesn't like the sound of most people's voices, and will do whatever she can to end a conversation in as quickly and professionally a manner as possible. She hates large groups of people, and is prone to anxiety attacks if she isn't able to get away fast enough. She enjoys small groups of people, loves Pokémon, and is amused by the occasional boy attempting to make a pass at her. She has a tendency to use big words, and will sometimes read a dictionary.

Appearance: Calvin has fair skin, marred by several scars, including a bruise under his left eye. He has golden-brown spiky hair, blue eyes, and a somewhat rounded face. He stands at 5'5" , and weighs approximately 120 pounds with a lean muscular build. Due to strange growth spurts, one leg is a bit longer than the other, so he never stands at his full height unless he's trying to get someone to back off, and he must be willing to balance on his longer leg. He wears a gray long sleeve thermal undershirt with a blue cargo vest, blue gloves with gray fingers, blue cargo jeans, and blue shoes with gray trim.

Camille not only defies the stereotype that girls worry about getting roughed up, but she turns it on its ear. Her face and body have so many scars that one would have to stand there for several minutes and count them, but she'd sooner punch your lights out for invading her personal space. She has long, flowing, brown hair, and crystal blue eyes. She is rather tall for her age, standing at 5'4" and weighs in at approximately 100 pounds with a slim yet curvy build.

History: The twins were never exactly what you'd call 'normal'. In fact, they were the exact opposite of what the people of Castelia City called 'normal'. While most people were naive and loquacious, these two were quiet, investigative, well-versed in many serious matters, and maintained a militaristic discipline that stayed with them. They aspire to be great Trainers, and want to do everything they can to accomplish this.

Pokemon: Snivy(Calvin) - Very moralistic, can't stand things she deems wrong, fairly good battler.
Oshawott(Camille) - Air-headed, likes to joke, weak but determined battler.

Personal Quote: "Challenge accepted."

The twins casually and eagerly walked to Professor Juniper's lab to get their Pokémon. Both were excited to start their journey, but knew there would be lots of things in their way.
 
Name: Oscar Triscott

Age: 11

Personality: Oscar is a friendly, laid back sort of guy. He is caring, but he is a bit naive. He really trusts what people say to him, and sometimes this causes him to be somewhat easy to manipulate.

Appearence: He has somewhat long, brown hair and a lanky stature. He is known to wear his white beanie with green stripes, and he has never been seen with it off. He also wears bandages on his arms to hide scars from an accident involving Oscar's Snover.
History: Oscar lived with a traveling family, and grew up in their mobile trailer. Oscar's mother was an environmentalist, and his father was a Pokemon Doctor. Due to their backgrounds, Oscar was raised and gained a lot of eco friendly habits. He only eats meat on special occasions and chooses soy despite how others give him grief over it.

However, one day up north they could hear a cry of despair. They had found a Snover, and it was trapped under a large pile of rubble. Oscar managed to save this Snover, but the massive weight of the pointed stones scarred his arms in the process. They intended to return this Snover back to the wild after Oscar's father had treated him, but Snover refused to leave Oscar's side. So Snover became his first pokemon, and he has been traveling ever since.

Pokemon:
Snover; (Male, named Vern)
Moves; Energy Ball, Ice Shard, Round, Grass Whistle.
Personality; Vern is very loyal and caring, but he's also a bit shy. He has trouble adjusting to new pokemon, but he has a surprisingly strong competitive side that can overcome his shyness if he is motivated. He practices playing his Grass Whistle. Oscar doesn't see the move as very useful due to how hard it is to put pokemon to sleep with it, but he keeps it because Vern enjoys practicing.

Crawdaunt; (Female, named Brin)
Moves; Waterfall, Nightslash, Scald, Super Power (Super Power is learned by breeding, but it can be replaced by strength if you'd like.)
Personality; Brin is extremely protective of the members of her team, and really focuses much of her energy into training. She is always very serious and alert to danger, but Vern's Grass whistle can often calm her spirits.

There are no other pokemon that Oscar owns. He's looking forward to finding new pokemon in Unova.

Oscar regretted rushing past professor Juniper's lab now. Maybe she would have given him a map if he had waited. He trundles through a forest, but a lot of bug pokemon live here. Vern and Brin were both weak to bugs, and this really made Oscar want to get out of this place as soon as possible. Oscar really did not know what lived here, and he could not help but think about the type of pokemon he would use to help circumvent his current party's weakness. Maybe he would get a flying type, or a fire type? A rock type could be nice too.. Oscar is caught daydreaming as he walks beside a Seawaddle chewing on a leaf. Oscar stops in his track and holds in his breath, afraid the pokemon would want to fight. The little Seawaddle looks at Oscar curiously, but it soon looses interest and begins nibbling on the leaf again. Oscar wipes a sweat and continues on. He really hopes that he can get out of here soon..
 
OOC: Yup! You get a new starter now.
Nicolette pushed someone aside, hoping it wasn't someone too important. She came to a stop when she almost crashed ito Professor Juniper. "Oh! Hello!" Nikki cheered. "I'm Nicolette, and my friends should be here any minute now.." She looked at the door to find the person she pushed was Sammy. "Oh! Sammy! I'm so sorry!!"
 
OOC: So do I already know the other 'villain' character?

Name: Ulrich Sturm
Age: 13
Apperance: Ulrich is of average height and build for his age. He has short brown hair, that he usually styles. He typically wears a black t-shirt and a dark green jacket that he keeps unzipped. This is paired with a pair of brown pants and accompanying shoes.
Personality: Ulrich isn't the nicest person, instead he is typically cynical and quite judgemental of others. He does enjoy training Pokemon however, and feels that he needs to be the strongest trainer against anyone he battles. He also typically likes to keep to himself, not reaching out to other people.
History: Originally from Driftveil City, Ulrich was born and raised in the Unova Region. He is a sinlge child, and even as growing up, he typically kept to himself, not attempting to make friends with others. He went to the trainer school, and became fascinated with Pokemon and Pokemon training. He usually treats Pokemon much different than he does other people, as he feels Pokemon are the only ones who can truely see who he is.
Pokemon: Golett (Male). Golett is a highly robotic Pokemon, but still trusts and looks up to Ulrich as a trainer.
 
Calvin and Camille got to Professor Juniper's lab, and entered. They saw someone else already there, and waited patiently, hoping that the one they wanted wasn't taken.
 
Nikki looked to the sound of the door opening, "Heeeeeeyyyy! Calvin! Camille!!!!!!" She waved to them, and Professor Juniper walked over the the two. "Welcome, I see that all the kids aren't here yet.." She mused, walking over to the large group of Pokemon. "Well! There are fi- well six Pokemon here. Sorry, I wasn't expecting twins!" She gestured to the 5 pokeballs on the counter, grabbing one off a nearby shelf. She also got a spare Pokedex. "Choose one Pokemon, and grab a Pokedex. I need to ask a favor of you. I will explain when the rest get here." Nicolette walked over to the table, picking up a random Pokeball and Pokedex.

"I'll take Snivy." Calvin said, grabbing the Poké Ball and Pokédex.

"I'll take Oshawott." Camille said, grabbing her Poké Ball and Pokédex.
 
Professor Juniper blinked "Uh..here's your Magikarp....well fish." She handed the pokeball and pokedex to Sammy. She turned to the twins. "Here you go!" She handed them the pokeballs and pokedexes. NIcolette paced back and forth, impatient for the others to come. She walked over to Calvin. "So...how are things between you and Sammy? Eh? EHhhhhhhhhHH?"
 
Sammy looked at Nicolette "you're a jerk" she said "fish meet eel, eel meet fish" as she held the two balls up to each other.
 
Nicolette teasingly stuck out her tounge. She took out her other two Pokemon's pokeballs and let them out, she also let out her new pokemon. An Eevee, Ditto and Vulpix appeared. "Hm..I'm gonna name you...well you're a boy sooo...Lee! Your new name is Lee!" She giggled.

Name: Jenny Blake
Age: 12

Personality: For a villain,Jenny isn't that mean and all.She's pretty sweet,kind,friendly and helpful.But when she does help others,for example,she fights for them when she's the one who's suppose to help the bad guys,she denies that she helped them.Instead,she tells them some excuse like "she wanted to finish them up and she's not gonna let someone else do it" or something like that.She's also a bit hot-headed but determined.

Appearence: (hell yeah I'm a lazy typer when it comes to appearances =3=)

History: Jenny was born in a wealthy family in Hoenn,but they moved to Unova at the age of 11.Jenny had always been kind and sweet,but she was forced to change because of a contract.It all started one day when her parents were abducted by some evil team.So she made the contract that she will help them in their ambition if they will set her parents free.Her parents were set free,but they died in some tragedy.Now,even if Jenny wanted to leave the evil organization,she can't because of the contract.

@Sximple Ghurl; Is it alright if I just put our characters together, and say they knew each other from childhood, or something.....

Ulrich ran side by side with Jenny through Route 1. "I hate being late" he thought to himself, as he continued to run, "We're gonna miss all the good Pokemon you know" he said to Jenny, panting in between words.
 
Calvin smiled uneasily at Nicolette. "Ha. You're a good comedian." He said, holding out his hand. "The name's Calvin O'Brien."

Jenny just sighed as she ran after Ulrich."Right"she replied,but she didn't actually sounded tired with all the running.She found the running actually fun.
 
"You should be worried by that" Ulrich said, a little upset. He liked Jenny, but sometimes he just felt that he should be by himself, rather than with someone else. She was one of the only friends that he had after all.
