Dear Diary, When I was in Jubilife Village, I met up with Akari, Laventon, and Cogita. Cogita tasked me with bringing Palkia to face Dialga. To prepare for this fight, I brought Palkia, Staraptor, Skunktank, and Floatzel with me. At the summit, I talked to Kamado, who asked if I was ready to face Dialga. When I nodded that I was ready, I was allowed to go up and face Dialga. Suddenly, it became frenzied, and I was propelled into an unexpected Noble fight. Vs. Dialga This fight, in short, was insane! It took me 3 Continues, mainly because I would get close to beating the thing (I finally figured out the dodge mechanic), and the research menu would come up which I would have to get out of while I was dodging and trying not to die. The meteor strikes were crazy, and by the time the smoke and dust would clear, I would be dead. Eventually, I captured Dialga in the Origin Ball, and the crisis concluded. The rift closed (for the most part), and the Main Story ended.

In Jubilife Village, I got some new requests. The first asked me to go to Oreburrow Tunnel and check out a raging Pokemon. The second set the stage for hunting for Darkrai at Clamberclaw Cliffs. The third set the stage for hunting for Shaymin at Floaro Gardens. The last one asked me to go to the Training Grounds. Training Grounds Zisu asked me if I wanted to fight the Secret Weapon of the Training Grounds. I am waiting for right now. With Laventon Professor Laventon was so grateful for my success that he gave me Rowlet & Oshawott to train. I will be using the two of them for my Grit Hunting soon enough. Basically just exploring with the two of them. Thank you all for your advice. I am going to bring my Main Team to the Oreburrow Tunnel. First, I have to meet with Volo, who wants to talk to me. Considering my Hisuian Goodra was the Alpha Sliggoo from the Holm of Trials, I must ask, when did you get around to exploring that area?

What was your actual Team, since you brought it up?

I think I missed this until I was nearly finished with the game? Hard to remember, its been a while. But my team was full when I got to it, and I was too attached to switch. My team was: Hisuian Samurott, Infernape, Kleavor, Glaceon, Hisuian Zoroark, and Luxray!

Dear Diary, Before going on this request, I talked to Volo, who talked to me about the Plates I had collected so far. I had 10. Once I was done talking to him and getting the Tasks to collect the other Plates from Cogita, I left for Oreburrow Tunnel. Oreburrow Tunnel I went into Oreburrow Tunnel, at first not sure how to get to the troublesome Pokemon, which turned out to be an Alpha Onix. I easily defeated the Alpha, and the request giver showed up. I was hoping that he would just capture the Alpha or that I could and then give it to him. Instead, it remained wild and was a partner to him. Perhaps we were looking at the origins of Oreburgh City. In the next Diary entry, we will go to the Training Grounds to fight a "Secret Weapon". 	Dear Diary, Turns out, the Secret Weapon of The Training Grounds was Ress, the same guy who asked us if we would be okay outside the village. His Team was deceptively strong. His Team was Bidoof, Starly, and Shinx, all in the Level 60's. He could actually put up a fight, and it took me a bit to actually win, but I did, proving my strength.
	Now that the battle with Ress has concluded, I was now able to follow Volo and hunt down the remaining Plates. Which Plates do I need to find? Stone Draco Iron Dread Blank Fist Pixie In the next Diary entry, we will go find the Stone Plate. Until the next time, we will see you!

Dear Diary, Volo asked me to meet him at Grueling Grove in pursuit of the Stone Plate. I thought perhaps the one that found the plate would be the Alpha Heracross or something. Maybe a previously unmet NPC. Instead, an Alpha Vespiquen (Level 60) found it. I attempted this fight a few times, mainly because my Pokemon kept missing their attacks, and Vespiquen kept hitting very hard. Eventually, after a few tries, Typhlosion managed to beat Vespiquen down. I got the Stone Plate as a reward. I was left wondering how that Pokemon got it. Perhaps it found the plate under a tree or something. One Plate down. In the next Diary entry, we will go capture Mespirit at Lake Verity. Until the next time, we will see you!

Dear Diary, Fresh off of gaining the Stone Plate, I went to Lake Verity to capture Mespirit (Level 70). I used Luxray to paralyze it, then weakened it to capture it. It captured easily, leaving me to capture Azelf and Uxie. I can't get the Draco Plate until I capture all 3, so off we go to Lake Valor. Until the next time, we will see you!

Dear Diary, I went to Lake Valor in pursuit of Azelf. Adaman met with me, begging for a battle. He used Leafeon, Umbreon, and Vaporeon. Typical of this game, he double struck before I could even get one hit ready to go. Still, I beat him, moving on my way to capture Azelf. Azelf was tricky to capture, but after a bit of effort, I managed to do it. All I have left before the Draco Plate is Uxie. Off to Lake Acuity. Until the next time, we will see you!

Dear Diary, Heading to Lake Acuity, I was first challenged to battle Irida and prove my worth. She had Glaceon, Espeon, and Flareon. Espeon was the toughest of the three, but we moved on. Getting to the capture of Uxie, it was another tricky capture, but we managed it. As our reward, we got the Draco Plate. Another Plate down. Is it possible that they had the Draco Plate because of their connection to the three Dragons of Sinnoh? In the next Diary entry, we will be going after Heatran. 	Dear Diary, I went to Firespit Island in pursuit of Heatran. Meeting with Iscan and Palina, they told me that Heatran was causing problems. The time for the hero has arrived.
	I almost died during the battle with Heatran (Level 70), mainly because I had to use Mud to break his firewall. I was afraid to use Goodra to capture Heatran, but turns out the Hydro Pump did not kill it. I captured Heatran in a Gigaton Ball, and moved on. Got the Iron Plate. In the next Diary entry, we will go after Cresselia. Until the next time, we will see you!

In the Coronet Highlands, I met with Melli, who wanted me to go hunt down Cresselia, who was apparently bothering Electrode. I wanted Cresselia, so off I went. This fight was tough, mainly because Cresselia had a "confusion barrier" around it, meaning the direction pad was not working right. Took me a bit to break the barrier, but I did capture Cresselia. Got the Dread Plate. That made me think of the other member of the duo...Darkrai. In the next Diary entry, we will capture Darkrai and Shaymin while we are able. Congrats on finishing the main campaign!

Cresselia also costed me a lot, it was rather tiring.

I recommend using grit items specially for Pokemon that are going to be super effective against Volo's main Pokemon.

Are you going to complete the Pokedex? I don't think you have much left.

As far as completing the Pokedex, there are two levels of completeness in Legends Arceus.
Level 10 Completeness-I don't really care about doing this, maxing it out.
Catching All Pokemon-That is the Level I want to do. This is the first time since Pokemon Red & Yellow (the first time I played them), where I can actually complete the Dex.

	Dear Diary, I got access to looking for Darkrai & Shaymin due to having save data for Galar (Shaymin) & Sinnoh (Darkrai). I went after Darkrai first.
	Darkrai After setting up the event, I was able to go hunt down Darkrai at Clamberclaw Cliffs in the Coronet Highlands. Actually going after Darkrai (Level 70) was quite difficult. It acted quite like Cresselia and Heatran, having a barrier of sorts. In this case, Darkrai used shadows to hide. I also had to sneak behind it and stun it in order to actually battle it. I used Luxray to paralyze Darkrai, but Darkrai used Dark Void and Dark Pulse to defeat Luxray. Luckily, I did not need Luxray to do more than paralyze. Knowing I had Drapion, I sent it out to withstand and damage Darkrai. Once Darkrai was low enough, I was able to capture it in an Ultra Ball. Darkrai was mine, but would Shaymin be a challenge?
	Shaymin To go after Shaymin, I went back to Floaro Gardens in the Obsidian Fieldlands. A member of the Diamond Clan had asked me to help find a mythical flower field. Using Braviary, I flew there and got started with the event. Shaymin (Level 70) was very aggressive, which threw me for a loop. I expected it to be timid, perhaps even friendly. I sent out Luxray to paralyze Shaymin. I have found that paralysis is the best status for catching Pokemon in this game. Shaymin kept using Earth Power. I switched to Goodra to lower Shaymin and allow me to capture it in a Great Ball. At long last, I had Shaymin. I have never actually captured Darkrai or Shaymin, and I have never actually done events for either, so it was nice to actually catch them both. In the next Diary entry, we will go after Regigigas at Snowpoint Temple. Until the next time, we will see you!

Dear Diary, Fresh off the captures of Darkrai & Shaymin, I resumed the quest for the Plates. I decided to go after Regigigas, a Pokemon I have not actually captured (except through using the other Golems). Regigigas Regigigigas was in Snowpoint Temple. Going to capture it was tougher than expected, since every wild Pokemon in the temple wanted to attack me. Luckily, Typhlosion led the charge, clearing out much of the wild Pokemon before fainting himself. Adaman and Sabi met me at the door leading to Regigigas, encouraging me. In order to open the door, however, I needed to use the Stone, Icicle, and Iron Plates, making reference to the other Golems, specifically the ones of Hoenn. I was surprised they didn't include the Zap and Draco Plates as well, making reference to the newer Galarian ones. Going up to take on Regigigas, I started with Luxray to paralyze it, then switched to Torterra, feeling I needed more bulk to handle the attacks. I whittled it down, then captured in a Gigaton Ball. Just two more Plates to go. In the next Diary entry, we will go after the Fist Plate. Until the next time, we will see you!

	Dear Diary, Having captured all of these Legends and having very few Plates to go, I decided to take on Kamado at Prelude Beach, the same Beach that I originally arrived on. He apologized to me for the suspicion, then challenged me to battle. Vs. Kamado He opened with Golem (Level 65). I expected him to start with Braviary, as he had at the Temple of Sinnoh, so I sent out Drapion. I quickly changed to Goodra. One Hydro Pump beat Golem. He then switched to Heracross (Level 65), and I changed to Sylveon. One Play Rough took it out. He switched to Snorlax (Level 66), and I changed to Torterra. It was a back and forth, with Torterra coming out on top. His Braviary (Level 65) took out my Torterra, and I sent out Luxray. Luxray beat Braviary, leaving Kamado with only his Clefable (Level 65). Clefable beat Luxray, but then lost to Drapion. The Fist Plate was mine. Apparently Kamado and Beni found the Fist Plate with they first arrived in Hisui. Kamado unofficially renamed the Region Sinnoh. He then wished me the best of luck.
	Volo took me to see Cogita, who congratulated me on getting the Plates, but she wanted to tell me more. In order to do that, she asked for three pieces of wood. I looked at my inventory in the box, and turns out I didn't have any. What is she wanting to tell me?
	I think I will be able to collect wood pieces in the Obsidian Fieldlands. Going back to the Fieldlands reminds me that I am going on a Grit Quest. I need a lot of Grit Dust. To do that, I am going to use my newly gotten Oshawott and Rowlet. This quest has 3 advantages: 1. Levels up Oshawott and Rowlet, both Level 5, naturally. 2. Gets the Grit Dust I need. I have some, and have used some, but I need more for getting my Main Team to Level 3 in EVs. 3. Get the Wood for Cogita. Because of this, I am going to take a Hiatus to complete these quests. When we next post, we will discuss our quest using only Oshawott and Rowlet. This will allow me to look at Hisui with fresh eyes once again. Until the next time, we will see you!

Before we get started, I would like to state three things for the record. 1. Thank you to the fans for their 6,000+ Views so far. It means a lot! 2. I am still on Hiatus, but I have done a bit, so I wish to update. 3. Oshawott is now a Dewott and is Level 25, while Rowlet is now a Dartrix and is Level 26. ================================== Dear Diary, Starting down the road with Oshawott and Rowlet was initially easy, then got harder as the training progressed. We are currently staying in the Obsidian Fieldlands. Every time I got enough Grit Dust, I would use it on my Main Team. The Grit Dust got me to Level 3 in the EVs. To get a lot of the Grit items, I released a lot of the weaker Pokemon from the Pastures. I have at least one Pokemon of each, so if I want to complete the Dex to Level 10, I can do so. The biggest single find was the Magikarp of the Obsidian Falls. I actually found a Level 55 Alpha Magikarp, which Rowlet, as Dartrix, was able to defeat. Once I had all of the Grit Dust I needed, I had 145 Grit Gravel, which I used to get the Main Team to Level 7 in the EVs. Let's do some Math: 10 Grit Dust makes 1 Grit Gravel. Grit Dust takes to Level 3 in the EVs. Completed. 10 Grit Gravel makes 1 Grit Pebble. Grit Gravel takes to Level 7 in the EVs. Completed. 10 Grit Pebble makes 1 Grit Rock. Grit Pebbles takes to Level 9 in the EVs. I need 16 more of those to get to Level 8, and 36 to get to Level 9. That means I need 52 total. Grit Rocks get Level 10 in the EVs. I currently have 14 of those. I need 22 more. In other news, I was able to get the three wood for Cogita. At this point in the journey, the most reliable way to get Wood was beating up Scythers. Those things are a menace, but I was able to get what I needed. In the next Diary entry, we will give Cogita the Wood she needs. until the next time, we will see you!

Dear Diary, With the three Wood pieces in hand, I went to the Ancient Retreat. Cogita asked me for them, exchanging them for the Pixie Plate. She was using it as a cutting board. What was she making? I just have one more Plate to go...the Spooky Plate. Who has it? Volo was there too, asking me to meet him at the Celestica Ruins. I am ignoring him for now. In the next Diary entry, we will make some Grit Gravel, Grit Pebbles, and Grit Rocks. This will take some time, so Please Be Patient! Until the next time, we will see you!

Dear Diary, So I know I was going to take some time to make more Grit Gravel, Grit Pebbles and Grit Rocks, but since my Grit Level is Level 7/Level 8, I decided to go meet with Volo at the Celestica Ruins. Celestica Ruins Here at the Ruins, I talked to Volo. We discussed the other member of the Trio. Not Palkia. Not Dialga. Giratina. He wanted to discuss Giratina. He was trying to ask me where we could meet Giratina. Why would you want to meet with the Pokemon Devil? That was so strange... Cutting to the chase, I said that we should meet at the Temple of Sinnoh. Yeah, I have figured you out, Volo. I decided to take some time to train up at the Training Grounds in Jubilife Village. Dear Diary, At this point, my Team, as a reminder, was at Level 73-75. I wanted to raise them to at least Level 85 before I would take on Volo. Ingo was running the Training Grounds along with Zisu. Before I took on any battles, I upgraded the movesets on my Team. Luxray gained Thunder Bolt, Sylveon gained Dazzling Gleam and Shadow Ball, Torterra gained Rock Slide and Energy Ball, Drapion gained Dark Pulse and Shadow Ball, and Goodra got Steel Beam. After I trained up to between 85 & 90, I used several of my Seeds of Mastery to master those moves. I ran quite a few cycles of: Wenton Bren Zisu Akari Kamado Beni Ingo Some were tougher than others, but I managed to achieve my goals. I changed my clothing after this to my cold weather gear and updated my Pokedex Tasks until I got over halfway to complete for 10th Star. I might just work to get it after all. Who knows if I can get there? For now, I prepared to take on Volo at the Temple of Sinnoh. I exchanged all of my Poke Ball items for all of my Healing items, just in case I would need them. Dear Diary, With my Team ready to go, I went to battle Volo at the Temple of Sinnoh. I prepared to battle him by setting Sylveon to come out first. Volo has much the same Team as Cynthia, with the exception being exchanging Milotic, which is unavailable, for Hisuian Arcanine. Vs. Volo Volo sent out Spiritomb (Level 68) and I sent out Sylveon. One Dazzling Gleam and Spiritomb was out. OHKO! After that opening, I did not know what to expect. When I was planning this battle in my head, I thought that either Roserade or Lucario would be next. I could not be sure until the choice was made. Volo quickly answered the question by bringing out Roserade (Level 68). Roserade hit with Spikes and Poison Jab. While Sylveon was Poisoned, it did not faint. I switched to Typhlosion, uncertain who would be faster. Typhlosion was faster and used Flamethrower, which ended Roserade. OHKO! Next for Volo was Hisuian Arcanine (Level 68). Arcanine used Rock Slide, then I switched to Goodra. Goodra has a very nasty habit of missing Hydro Pump, so I was worried. Luckily Goodra used Hydro Pump and the move hit, easily soaking Arcanine. OHKO! Next for Volo was Lucario (Level 68). I thought about sending out Typhlosion again, but I saw that Typhlosion was quite weak. Looking for other options, I sent out Torterra. Lucario used Bulk Up and Close Combat. Torterra stood strong, using Bulldoze, which defeated Lucario. OHKO! Volo sent out Togekiss (Level 68). Togekiss used Calm Mind as I switched to Drapion. Drapion fired off a Cross Poison, which, while it did not OHKO Togekiss, it forced Volo to heal Togekiss. That Full Restore was to go to Garchomp, but Garchomp was denied. Volo switched out Togekiss. Garchomp (Level 68) came out in its place. Earth Power did a lot of damage to Drapion. I switched back to Goodra. Goodra fired off a Dragon Pulse, leading to a fainted Garchomp. OHKO! Togekiss came back out, and Drapion came back out. Drapion swept out Togekiss. This was the last OHKO of the main fight. OHKO! Volo was not done, however. He could not accept defeat, so he summoned Giratina to his aid! WTF dude! You made a deal with a demon! With no other option, I prepared to battle Giratina. Vs. Volo & Giratina Sylveon was still weak, since my Team was not healed between the fight stages. Giratina (Level 70) defeated Sylveon, and I switched to Drapion. Drapion used Dark Pulse twice to hit Giratina, which defeated it. I thought I was done, but soon Giratina changed form. I had to fight it again! Good grief! Vs. Giratina Origin Form Drapion landed a hit before Giratina made Drapion fall. I did not know what I wanted to do. At this point, I thought about sending out Luxray and maybe Paralyzing Giratina, but then I thought about using Torterra as a shield to Max Revive Sylveon and Drapion (I had several). I felt bad letting Torterra take a beating, but it was the strongest defenses naturally I had where there would not be super effective damage. Torterra fell, but it had done the job I needed it to do. I sent out Sylveon, and a few Dazzling Gleam attacks ended Giratina. I prepared for a third battle, but instead, Giratina bowed and flew away. After some discussion with a defeated Volo, he gave me the Spooky Plate (which he had used to control Giratina), and watched the Celestica Flute become the Azure Flute. Volo left disgusted, intending to find Arceus, even if it took him centuries to do so. Say What? Volo left, I played the Azure Flute, and yet there was no response from Arceus yet. That was an insane battle, and I was surprised I could beat Volo in my first attempt. My Team did much better than I expected. In the next Diary entry, we will review the Season.
