Unovia's Hisui Run

Log #H114-Lake Valor New
0340Whiscash.png
Dear Diary,
While sailing on Lake Valor, I thought, for a few moments, that the Lake had nothing in it. That was until I saw the glowing red eyes of something. At first, I thought it was Sharpedo.

Then I thought, Sharpedo isn't in the Hisui Dex, so what is in this lake?

Turns out, it's an Alpha Whiscash. Torterra beat do a different Whiscash, but I will be heading back for that Alpha one at some point. He looks like a heavy dude. After my experience with that Gyarados in Lake Verity, I am a bit nervous.

In the next Diary entry, we will be discussing our Team, which is finished. We have our Final Team for the Playthrough! Until the next time, we will see you!

Log #H115-Our Team Is Complete New
320px-Legends_Arceus_Rei.png
Dear Diary,
After a lot of effort, we have achieved our final Team for the Playthrough. Yes, we will have the occasional Honorable Mentions, but this will be our final Main Team.

Any comments on it, suggestions, will be appreciated.

Without further ado, here we go!

Final Team:
Torterra
Luxray
H-Typhlosion
Sylveon
H-Sliggoo (Will be a Goodra)-Alpha Pokemon
Drapion-Alpha Pokemon

My only glaring Weakness is that 4 of my Team members are weak to Ground. Those are:
Luxray
H-Typhlosion
H-Sliggoo/H-Goodra
Drapion

This is the Team I plan to go into the rest of the game with, I have planned this for quite a while, it just took me a bit to get to it. As I have said before, any other suggestions are appreciated. In the next Diary entry, we will be going after the Gyarados of Lake Verity and the Whiscash of Lake Valor.

I will capture them. Until the next time, we will see you!

At least you have a grass type. I don't think there are any ground types that resist grass aside from Torterra...

Edit: Never mind. Just remembered the Gligar Line. They might give you problems.

Who in the story has a Gligar/Gliscor?

Log #H116-Gyarados & Whiscash New
0130Gyarados.png
Dear Diary,
We completed a few things in this posting. First, we went back to Ramanas Island, where we captured the Alpha Infernape. Secondly, while at Ramanas Island, we captured a Combee there. We now have both Combees for a later request.
0340Whiscash.png
Making our way back to Lake Valor, we fought and captured the Alpha Whiscash. As we checked in with Laventon, the rain began to fall. I got out the Alpha Sliggoo. At first, I thought I would have to use a Rare Candy to trigger the evolution in the rain, but the menu showed that I could evolve the Alpha Sliggoo right away.

I now had an Alpha Hisuian Goodra!

As I completed these tasks, I hit exactly 100 Hours of Gameplay.

In the next Diary entry, we will be making our way back to the Cobalt Coastlands. With Basculegion supporting us, we will explore Tranquility Cove. Until the next time, we will see you!

Dear Diary,
Now that I was back in the Coastlands, I explored Tranquility Cove. Here I captured several Mantyke and Mantine. I don't know if I need all of the Remoraid to do the evolution or if I can just keep one and release the others. I also captured an East Sea Shellos & Gastrodon.

While I was here, I prepared to go to Lunker's Lair & Seagrass Haven. In the next Diary entry, we will go there and see what is there. Until the next time, we will see you!

Dear Diary,
Continuing from Tranquility Cove, I found my way into Lunker's Lair & Seagrass Haven. Here, I captured several Finneon, Tentacool, and closer to Firespit Island, Tentacruel, including one Alpha.

Upon further exploration, I also captured an Alpha Lumineon. I am still looking for Piplup, though.

In the next Diary entry, we will cover all of the new requests we have completed so far. Until the next time, we will see you!

320px-Legends_Arceus_Rei.png
Dear Diary,
Here are the requests I have completed recently:
Shellos of the East & West
-Showing the two Shellos colors

Keep An Eye Out For Aipom
-An Aipom chase down to get back a backpack full of goodies

Double The Tails, Double The Fun
-Featuring a Finneon

Coming Up Roses (On Ramanas Island)
-Actually asked me to show a Scyther to the guy. The thing about this one is that I had to actually bring Scyther with me.

Eevee's Evolutions
-Got a Thunderstone as thanks

Octillery's Ink
-Required me to finish Octillery's Dex entry. I just had to capture an Alpha Octillery or two to get this done.

Poor Peckish Piplup
-Had to feed a sick Piplup a Bean Cake. Luckily I had a few from the Octillery request. It also made me want to find a Piplup for myself.

Getting Help From Machoke
-The man wanted to see the complete Dex entry for Machoke so he could catch one himself.

The Taste of Honey
-Three different Combees. One from Grueling Grove (who was an Alpha), one from Ramanas Island (took a while to find one), and one from Aipom Hill.

Gone Astray In The Coastlands
-Wanda quest again

In the next Diary entry, we will go to Spring Path & Islespy Shore. Until the next time, we will see you!

Log #H120-Spring Path & Islespy Shore New
0395Empoleon.png
Dear Diary,
It was quite tricky to get to Islespy Shore & Spring Path. When I got to Islespy Shore, I was confronted by a Level 70 Alpha Empoleon.

My Pokemon Team is between Level 51 and Level 53. The Empoleon, while frightening, actually clued me into the fact that Piplup must be nearby. I had no idea where to look for a Piplup of my own.

Eventually, I found one by a small pond, which I captured. I decided to camp out here, hoping to find more, lest it be like Chimchar or Turtwig. What is the deal with these Starters and their super rarity? Always near a out of the way place, either an island (Chimchar) or lake (Turtwig & Piplup).

When we decide to move on, it will be time for hunting more Unown. We have seven we can capture. Until the next time, we will see you!

Log #H121-The Unown Research Continues New
1024px-Unown_anime.png
Dear Diary,
Going around the Cobalt Coastlands, I managed to capture another 5 Unown. These were E, I, N, R, Z. This settles me with 14 Unown total.

I was also able to catch the Alpha Empoleon! I am currently training once again, hoping to get every Team Member, including the Team members I am also using, outside of the Main Team, to Level 55.

In the next Diary entry, we will be doing the Swapping Snacks Request. Until the next time, we will see you!

Log #H122-Swapping Snacks New
320px-Legends_Arceus_Rei.png
Dear Diary,
I met with Bonn in Jubilife Village. He asked me to find a Springy Mushroom, Sootfoot Root, and Hopo Berry.

I had plenty of Hopo Berries, but I had to go and get Springy Mushrooms and Sootfoot Roots. The best place for the Sootfoot Roots was the Crimson Mirelands.

After wandering the Mirelands, I turned in the three items, getting the recipe for the Swap Snack. I also made several Bean Cakes.

Looking at the Dex, I decided that I had very few Pokemon that I was missing in the areas I had explored so far. I forgot to mention that at the same time I caught the Alpha Empoleon, I had also captured an Alpha Dusknoir.

Realizing that I could get an Alakazam in the Obsidian Fieldlands, especially Sandgem Flats, I decided to go catch it. In the next Diary entry, we will capture Alakazam. Until the next time, we will see you!

Log #H123-Alakazam In The Obsidian Fieldlands New
0065Alakazam.png
Dear Diary,
At this point, you would think that I would have captured everything possible in the Obsidian Fieldlands. You would be wrong, it turns out. In Sandgem Flats, at night, an Alpha Alakazam made it's presence known. Because I want to limit the amount of link cords and stones that I have to buy through Merit Points (the Satchels), I decided to try to capture the Alakazam.

I only had Staraptor, Skunktank, and Floatzel with me at the time. Luckily, Alakazam was only Level 60. Using Skunktank, I effectively stalled out Alakazam long enough to capture it.

After doing some research, I discovered that Johtonian Sneasel and Weavile can be caught in Space Time Distortions at Sandgem Flats in the Fieldlands. I want to capture them if possible. I would be fine getting a Johtonian Sneasel only, but if I can get both, I would be happy.

In the next Diary entry, we will discuss our capture of the Johtonian Sneasel and maybe even Weavile. Until the next time, we will see you!

An Update New
1024px-LA_Pokédex.png
Here is a list of the Pokemon I am missing so far (Obsidian Fieldlands, Crimson Mirelands, & Cobalt Coastlands). Most of these are available in Distortions, using Link Cords, or Evolution Items:

Rowlet Line (Post Game)
Oshawott Line (Post Game)
Golem (Link Cord)
Scizor (Metal Coat)
Overqwil (Evolution)
Ursaluna (Peat Block)
Steelix (Metal Coat
Rhyperior (Protector)
Togekiss (Shiny Stone)
Porygon 2 & Porygon Z (Upgrade & Dubious Disc)
Gengar (Link Cord)
Spiritomb (Wisp Quest)
Machamp (Link Cord)
Magnemite Line

I will be getting the Magmar Line when I go and explore Firespit Island in a few entries, as well as Basculin.

This will take a bit, so when we are ready to post again, we will post again. Thank You all for the 2,000+ Views so far! Please continue to support the Playthrough.

Log #H124-Searching Distortions For Johtonian Sneasel New
1024px-Space-time_Distortion_Hisuian_Snow.png
Dear Diary,
This event occurred much faster than I expected. Turns out, all I had to do was find a Distortion in the Obsidian Fieldlands, get there before it would officially start, then hunt.

I got 2 Johtonian Sneasels and one Steelix out of that Distortion.

It was time to go try to do the same thing in the Coastlands, this time for Magnemite. Until the next time, we will see you!

Log #H125-Searching Distortions For Magnemite New
1024px-Space-time_Distortion_Hisuian_Snow.png
Dear Diary,
The luck in the Distortions continued, this time in the Coastlands. Spending some time in there, I first encountered a Magneton, which I accidentally defeated. Shortly after, I encountered several Magnemite, most of which I was able to capture.

I also managed to get a Protector, a Metal Coat, and an Electrizer. After the Distortion ended, I evolved one of my Magnemites all the way to Magnezone, my Rhydon to Rhyperior, and one of my Scythers to a Scizor.

I was very lucky.

In the next Diary entry, we will head to Firespit Island. Until the next time, we will see you!

Log #H126-Heading To Firespit Island New
1024px-Firespit_Island_LA.png
Dear Diary,
Feeling ready with my Main Team, I headed to Firespit Island. There I met with Iscan and Palina. They were ready to settle the issue with the island. For now, I was more focused on doing research before I actually did the quest here.

In the next Diary entry, we will discuss the research we have done. Until the next time, we will see you!
