OK, on Pokemon Leafgreen my little sis has been catching loads of Unown that don't look like letters or ! or ? Has this happened to anyone else and why is this happening?
 
Can you post a picture of it? Otherwise, they most likely are Unown letters. It's hard to identify them by their letters sometimes.
 
There are now 28 different kinds of Unown. The two new ones are ! and ?. There is nothing wrong with your game.
 
All Unown are letters, ?, or !. It's just hard to tell with the eye sometimes.
 
...And for the record, here's all the currently existing Unown. Are you sure the one you saw wasn't one of these? ;)

I'd like to point out that G, V, and Z look nothing like what they should. Not even slightly recognizable as those letters.
 
Z does, G and V are apparently based on more calligraphic versions of the letters though, probably 'cause they'd be too tough to do otherwise.
 
Thanks for the Unown chart. Mine are actually letters. I'd caught f, l, r, s and y. Sorry to have wasted your time.
