Alright this is the first story i've ever dont on the net. I hope you enjoy it!! I've been writing/revising this story for about 4 years so i hope you guys enjoy this LONG story.

May 2nd, 1997: My First Day As A Trainer
"Ryu...Ryu... wake up. It's dawn, and your breakfast is getting cold" my mother said.
"I'll be down in a minute. Let me get up and take a shower. I'm not bothered by cold food" I spoke as I rose from the covers
"Well, you better hurry up. Besides breakfast, your friend Ken is here and in about an hour or so you must go to your fathers lab to get ready on you Pokèmon journey."
"Alright!!" I yelled as my mother was walking down the stairs.
My name is Ryu Birch. And about a month to this day I got my licence to become a Pokèmon trainer. As of now I'm 16 years old, and have blondish hair.
My best friend Ken has had his Pokèmon licence for about a year or so. He was just waiting for me to get mine, so we could go together. He's 16, but turning 17 in about a week. He has brown hair and is taller than me, but he says it's better to be small because you can fit through smaller cracks.
Today is going to be fun because I finally get to live my dream of getting a badge and catching a Pokèmon. My mom said not to get my hopes up, because it is hard to get a badge.
"You would'nt know how hard they train unless you became one yourself. They dont call them Gym Leaders and give them badges for nothing" she constantly says when i bring badges up.
When i was done taking my shower I got dressed in my favorite blue jeans and my lucky red shirt with the white stripe slightly over my navel. I got my socks on, sliped on my shoes, and took one strap of my bookbag and slug it over my shoulder. I was ready to leave. But it was only 7:45 a.m. and Ken and I were to leave the house at 8:30.
"Ryu, come down your mother's about to throw your eggs and toast out" Ken said. "If you don't want 'em i'll be glad to take them. Haven't eaten in about a half-hour.
"Sure Ken, you can have them, i'll be down in about a minute. I said chuckling at what Ken said.
I put my watch on, and took my Pokèmon booklet, with all the moves, names, and stats of the Pokèmon, and put it in my bookbag. After that I ran downstairs.
My house isnt that big. It's a two story building with 4 rooms a kitchen, a resting room, and two bathrooms. I had a pet pidgey, but when it evolved into pidgeotto, my mom made me release it because it was more teritorial, and would often pick at her garden.
When I got downstairs it was longer than expected. My mom was washing the dirty breakfast china, Ken was done with my food, which is surprizing since he eats slow, and the time was 8:20.
"I'm going to miss you Ryu." my mom spoke as tears ran down her face "Your finally looking like the actors on tv that portray Pokèmon trainers."
"What about my Mrs. Birch?" Ken stammered
"Oh Ken, you know i'll miss you too."
My mother turned on the radio and my dad was on the radio being interviewed.
"Ken, which one will you pick?" I spoke. "I''m picking Treecko"
"I'll prolly pick Mudkip" Ken said "Besides I was researching the first gym leader and she uses rock pokemon so not only is Treecko good but Mudkip is good too!"

"Professor Birch, what is with the starting three Pokèmon this year. We all thought it would be Treecko, Mudkip, and Torchic?" The VJ spoke shocking both Ken and I.
"Well I thought I would go back to the old roots and pick Bulbasaur, Charmander and Squirtle as the starters. The other three are good it's just that, we need to do more research on the. Bulbasaur, Charmander, and Squirtle we know all about. There's no more research we need on them. So we figure just give them to the new trainers because everyone knows about them, and they will be eaiser to raise because of that" my father said.
Just then my mother ran in from the living room and said "I can't believe it....he wasn't lying. Well you kids get a move on. You only got 5 minutes untill you pick the Pokèmon. I'll be there to give you kids your "equipment to survive" she said in a laughig voice.

As Ken and I were walking we saw the third trainer that was recieving a pokemon, her name was Jen.
"HEY!!! How are you guys doing on this wonderful day? I'm great just trying to focus on what pokemon to get. I think I'll get Mudkip....yah..no, wait..Torchic" Jen spoke exuberntly.
"Should we tell her Ryu" Ken said
"Tell me what??!!" Jen said
"Ah, my father is not giving us the new three pokemon" I said in a hazy voice "He's giving us the original three, Bulbasaur, Charmander, and Squirtle."
"Ahahahah....you-ou-our kidding me right?? Right?" she said looking confused as if we were joking around"
"No. Were not!" Ken said
"Oh, well I know alot about Bulbasaur so i guess i'll get him" she said as if she didnt care what Pokèmon she got. "I guess I'll introduce myself to you. Im Jen and i just turned 16, i just moved here from just out of Cerulean City. I got my licence so early because I went to a Pokèmon Academy when I was 14 I know you Ryu but who is your friend here?"
"Oh, this is Ken Sugumi, he's cool and also my best friend" I said
"HI FIVE BRO" Ken screamed as we gave each other a Hi Five.
Jen was different from any other girl. She was an inch or two smaller that me and she had golden blond hair. She was beautiful and had a nice attitude. I was going to ask her then to join Ken and I on our journey but i decided to wait untill we got our Pokèmon.
When we got to the Lab. My dad came up to me and asked to follow him, as the crowd outside grew bigger and bigger geting ready for us to come out.
"How are all of you doing? Well you all know me I'm Ryu's father Professor Birch. You are hear to recieve your starting three pokemon. You can choose from either Bulbasaur the grass/poison Pokèmon, Charmander the fire Pokèmon, or Squirtle the water Pokèmon. Now, each of them have been tamed and will love whoever spends time with them. They will not disobey you unless you treat them wrong which you certainly will not. Now come here, I have all of your licences and Pokèdexs here. You all know what these are from because you all were schooled. Now I know what your thinking, you three arent the only trainers this year there are over 30 new trainers all over the Hoenn, Jhoto, and Kanto lands. Now come pick your Pokèmon you each will take a straw, whoever gets the biggest one picks first. my dad said.
We all picked straws and Jen got the smallest, Ken got the biggest and I would go second.
"Hmmmm, I guess I'll pick this one

:007: Squirtle Tinyturtle Pokèmon

After birth its back swells and hardens into a shell. Powerfully sprays foam from it's mouth.

Now it was my turn and i was making the tuff decision
"Umm, i guess i'll take this Pokèmon"

Obviously prefers hot places. When it rains, steam is said to spout from the tip of it's tail

Ht: 2'04" Wt: 15.0 lb
A strange seed was planted on it's back at birth. The plant sprouts and grows with this Pokèmon.

"Well it is 9 a.m. right now" my father said "Time to show your parents what you have and then you can start your Pokèmon journey. Dont forget to call in every city you fall in" One more thing, take this manual with each of you. It gives as many tips including , food recipies, gyms, cities, and a built in map.
"Thanks!!" Ken said
"I love ya dad!" i spoke
"Hear I come gym leaders everywhere, oh, thanks Professor Birch" Jen said exhillerated.

"What did you get Ken hunny" Mrs Sugumi said to her son"
"Squirtle mom, I'm so happy this moment came!"
"Well, im proud of you hunny, showing responsiblilty" she said "Heres your wallet with 50 dollars in it, fresh clothes, fruit and spring water in your backpack. Go get 'em"
Then my mom came with a big bag and she said "Here is a bag with 5 potions, and 10 pokè balls for you and Ken. Split them 5 each since you can only keep 6 Pokèmon in your party."
"Alright mom,I love you" I said as i kissed my mom on the cheek.
"Hey, Ryu. Where's Jen" Ken said as the crowd was leaving towards thier houses.
"I have no clue" I said looking around
"Aw, forget her she prolly got so caught up that she forgot to wait up" Ken said quite angry that she left without saying good-bye. "Let's get going."
And at exactly 9:38 we left not knowing that we were going to be in for the greatest adventure of our life.

As Ken and I walked up to Odale Town I looked up trying to find a pidgey or a taillow to catch. But, all i saw were clouds and leaves blowing in the wind. Ken turned to me and asked
"Well, we can't both fight a gym leader on the same day, and definatly don't have time to wait two days in a city just because. So, do you really want to get badges in Hoenn?
"I don't know when we get to a gym i'll inform you" I said
"Alright i guess that's allright with me." he said
It took us about an hour to get to Oldale Town but, when we made it we went to the pokemon center to take a break. Ken and I were discussing the Pokèdex and what it does exactly.
"What it does is it tells you what your Pokèmon's level is at. When it grows a level it's stats get higher but you knew that. It also records how your Pokèmons status is such as if it has been in a battle wheter it needs to be taken to PC (Pokèmon Center) or not. "It could look tired and make you think you need to take it to a PC but sometimes you dont need to, and it's always good to make sure its doing alright" Ken was explaining. "It also gives you information of a pokemon you've seen or have captured"
"I see" I said
We stayed at the Pokèmon Center for lunch and headed for the Pokèmon Shop for more supplies. I had 100 dollars and Ken had 50. We each bought an antidote and a paralyze heal because we overheard Shroomish and Wurmple, Caterpie and Weedle were up ahead in Route 103. At the end of our shoping spree it was already 3 p.m. And we were ahead of schedule we walked up to Route 103 and i saw a Caterpie and Ken saw a Shroomish. We each battled the Pokèmon we saw

It's feet have suction cups designed to stick to any surface. It tenaciously climbs trees to forage

"Go, Charmander" I said as threw my pokeball
A white light gleamed from the middle of the pokèball and the dot that I learned turned red when you would throw one at a wild Pokèmon was turning white. An image of a charmander appeared in white then beacame clear and I could see it and when I first glanced at it, it looked back at me. We were ready to attempt to catch a Caterpie
The caterpie took no time to fight. When it slung a String Shot attack at Charmanders face. I told it to rip the string off of its face and to scratch Caterpie. It did and when I pulled my Pokèdex out and pointed it to Caterpie. It was almost fatigued so I threw a Pokèball at it and a red light shone on Caterpie. It all of a sudden went inside the Pokèball. The ball wiggled for a bit before it stopped which meant I Ryu Birch had captured his first Pokèmon.
After that I looked at Ken who wasn't to thrilled.
"What happened Ken?" I said
"Oh, my Squirtle grew from level 1 to level 2 but it made Shroomish faint and now i still have just one Pokèmon." he said in a sad voice.
"It's allright Ken, you will eventally catch a Pokèmon." I said trying to cheer him up.
"Your right, why am I sad? I'm living my dream with my best friend" Ken said
After we went back to the PC to heal our pokemon it was 5 p.m. when they were fully healed so we were trying to decide where to head off as our pokemon were eating.
"Well, we cant go back to Route 103 because its blocked off by a lake" Ken said.
All of a sudden a voice said "How about going down with me to Route 102. Me, my Bulbasaur and my Shroomish need company."
"Bulbasaur...Bulbasaur" I said "Jen? Is that you?
"Yah" she said "Sorry I left you guys, I just wanted to get a head start. It was wrong but its early so Ryu, how would you like to Pokèmon battle with me. If any of our Pokèmon faint we can bring them back here. Besides, its more experience."
"Go ahead" Ken said. "Im going back to Route 103 to catch a Pokèmon"
"Alright" I said. "I won't hold back"
"Don't want ya to hun" she said "Now, LET'S GO!!"

It was 6:00 p.m. when I had my first Pokèmon battle. and it was hard. Very hard!!
"GO Shroomish" she said as she called out her first pokemon
"Charmander, I choose you" I said usings my first Pokemon
According to the Pokèdex Charmander is faster so it attacks first. A crowd was formed of Pokèmon trainers was formed watching Jen and my every move. It was nerve-wrecking!!
"Chramander, Scratch attack" i yellled
With one swoop of the paw Shroomish was down but not out
"Shroomish, Stun Spore" she said
And out of the top of the head but unfortunaltly for Jen, being fast has it's advantages.
"Ah it missed, Shhhoot!!" she yelled
"Now finish it off Charmander, Scratch it again" I said excited to defeat my first Pokèmon in my first Pokèmon battle.
"Char-Charmander" it cried.
With another swipe of the paw Shroomish was down AND out. Not only did Charmander grow 2 levels for being in a pokemon battle it was 3 for being in an actual battle and defeating a Pokèmon a level ahead of it but, it was already experienced at level 2 so it was 2 levels away from learning a new move, Ember.
"Thats it Ryu, your going down!" she said determined to knock out my Charmander. "GO Bulbasaur"
Charmander was faster but, Bulbasaur has more Hit Points which means it will be harder to Knock Out!
"Charmander, Scratch" i said exuberantly
It hit Bulbasaur. Bulbasaur looked like it didnt hurt but it flinched, which gave me an advantage.
"Charmander, Growl" i spoke trying to weaken Bulbasaur's Attack
"Bulbasaur" Jen said "Use Leech Seed:
"Uh,Oh" I said "Bulbasaur is already at level 7."
Charmander was geting weaker while the vine was still attached to Bulbasaurs back giving him energy.
"Erm, Chramander, scratch!!" I said trying to get a advantage.
Bulbasaur was at a stage according to the Pokèdex where with 2 more hits it would faint.
"Bulbasaur, tackle NOW" she said as Bulbasaur tackled my Charmander.
One more hit would knock out my Charmander so i remembered somthing my dad tought me: "If your Pokèmon is weak and will faint in one more hit, switch it with another pokemon it your party."
"Charmander have a potion" i said as the potion restored my Charmander.
"HA!, ill still defeat it before my Bulbasaur faints" she said cofidently.
"Oh no you won't! Charmander return" I said as I left Jen's face stunded "Go Caterpie"
My Caterpie was at level 4, a slight disadvantage but one more hit would knock it out.
"Caterpie, finish that Bulbasaur off!, Tackle!" I said with a load of cofidence as Caterpie tackled a weak Bulbasaur knocking it out and winning me the match.
"Ho-ho-ho-how could you?" she studdered as she picked up her Bulbasaur and ran into the Pokèmon Center.
"Ryu..RYU!! Good news bro!" Ken said as he ran to me from Route 103.
"Not now Ken" I said dissapointly "Lets talk about it in the Pokèmon Center.

After the match our Pokèmon where getting healed and Jen wouldn't talk to me. She wouldn't even look at me.
"Jen, what's the matter, you win some, you lose some" Ken said
"Well, there are some things I dont wanna talk about. And some people I don't wanna talk to!!" she said in a pouty mood.
Just then Nurse Joy came to the table with a late snack and our Pokèmon.
"Here you are boys, have a great night! The showers are in the back room first door to the left, beds are the first door to the right."
"Thanks" I said "Now Ken, what was the good news?"
"Well check it out for ourself" Ken said
"Come out 'ol buddy"

Common in grassy areas and forests, it is very docile and will chase off enemies by flapping up sand

"You see, I told you that you would catch a Pokèmon" I said
"What can I say? You were right all along. You the MAN! HI FIVE" he said as I gave him a Hi Five.
"Oh, what a cute Pokèmon. I absloutly love Pidgeys" what level is it?" Jen said as she came back from looking at the poster of the Elite Four.
"Level 5 I believe" Ken said.
"Woah, your Squirtle is only level 2! How did you get a level 5 Pidgey? I asked.
"I trained it. My Squirtle is know level 5. Ken answered.
"Cool" I said "Lisiten, it's getting late. I'm gonna take a shower and go to bed.
"Listen Ryu, im sorry for being a snob to you" Jen said" I guess I was just mad about losing"
"It's ok!. You win some and lose some." I said "But I'm flushed, so I'll see you guys in the morning".
"Night" Ken said
"See Ya around hun" Jen said
As I was in the shower I thought about all the fun Ken and I were gonna have on this adventure, but I also couldn't stop thinking about Jen. She was gorgeous. But shes also tough. I heard the door open but couldn't see anyone because of the steam in the room.
"Who's there?" I asked.
When I got out, I looked and noone was there, I looked by my pajamas and saw my wallet.
"I know for a fact there was 65 dollars in here" I yelled down the hall after getting dressed. There was an envelope in there i opened it and saw 25 dollars and a note.
"Ryu,
Hun you are a worthy opponent. And dont worry I'll be comming with you and Ken. You could call me a "personal cheerleader"

I couldn't stop reading that letter all night, i read it when i was in bed all night untill about 11 p.m. when Ken came outta the shower. I slipped it back in my wallet.
"Hey man." Ken whispered. "Thanks for comin' with me on this journey."
"No problem." I whispered "Thats what bros are for. By the way...wheres Jen"
"Shes in the girls resting room" Ken told me
"I think I like her" I said to Ken
"She is pretty and nice" Ken said. "I'm glad to hear you like a good girl. But I'm tired so I'll talk to you tommarow."

"Alright mom,I love you" I said as i kissed my mom on the cheek.
"Hey, Ryu. Where's Jen" Ken said as the crowd was leaving towards thier houses.
"I have no clue" I said looking around
"Aw, forget her she prolly got so caught up that she forgot to wait up" Ken said quite angry that she left without saying good-bye. "Let's get going."
And at exactly 9:38 we left not knowing that we were going to be in for the greatest adventure of our life.

As Ken and I walked up to Odale Town I looked up trying to find a pidgey or a taillow to catch. But, all i saw were clouds and leaves blowing in the wind. Ken turned to me and asked
"Well, we can't both fight a gym leader on the same day, and definatly don't have time to wait two days in a city just because. So, do you really want to get badges in Hoenn?
"I don't know when we get to a gym i'll inform you" I said
"Alright i guess that's allright with me." he said
It took us about an hour to get to Oldale Town but, when we made it we went to the pokemon center to take a break. Ken and I were discussing the Pokèdex and what it does exactly.
"What it does is it tells you what your Pokèmon's level is at. When it grows a level it's stats get higher but you knew that. It also records how your Pokèmons status is such as if it has been in a battle wheter it needs to be taken to PC (Pokèmon Center) or not. "It could look tired and make you think you need to take it to a PC but sometimes you dont need to, and it's always good to make sure its doing alright" Ken was explaining. "It also gives you information of a pokemon you've seen or have captured"
"I see" I said
We stayed at the Pokèmon Center for lunch and headed for the Pokèmon Shop for more supplies. I had 100 dollars and Ken had 50. We each bought an antidote and a paralyze heal because we overheard Shroomish and Wurmple, Caterpie and Weedle were up ahead in Route 103. At the end of our shoping spree it was already 3 p.m. And we were ahead of schedule we walked up to Route 103 and i saw a Caterpie and Ken saw a Shroomish. We each battled the Pokèmon we saw

"Go, Charmander" I said as threw my pokeball
A white light gleamed from the middle of the pokèball and the dot that I learned turned red when you would throw one at a wild Pokèmon was turning white. An image of a charmander appeared in white then beacame clear and I could see it and when I first glanced at it, it looked back at me. We were ready to attempt to catch a Caterpie
The caterpie took no time to fight. When it slung a String Shot attack at Charmanders face. I told it to rip the string off of its face and to scratch Caterpie. It did and when I pulled my Pokèdex out and pointed it to Caterpie. It was almost fatigued so I threw a Pokèball at it and a red light shone on Caterpie. It all of a sudden went inside the Pokèball. The ball wiggled for a bit before it stopped which meant I Ryu Birch had captured his first Pokèmon.
After that I looked at Ken who wasn't to thrilled.
"What happened Ken?" I said
"Oh, my Squirtle grew from level 1 to level 2 but it made Shroomish faint and now i still have just one Pokèmon." he said in a sad voice.
"It's allright Ken, you will eventally catch a Pokèmon." I said trying to cheer him up.
"Your right, why am I sad? I'm living my dream with my best friend" Ken said
After we went back to the PC to heal our pokemon it was 5 p.m. when they were fully healed so we were trying to decide where to head off as our pokemon were eating.
"Well, we cant go back to Route 103 because its blocked off by a lake" Ken said.
All of a sudden a voice said "How about going down with me to Route 102. Me, my Bulbasaur and my Shroomish need company."
"Bulbasaur...Bulbasaur" I said "Jen? Is that you?
"Yah" she said "Sorry I left you guys, I just wanted to get a head start. It was wrong but its early so Ryu, how would you like to Pokèmon battle with me. If any of our Pokèmon faint we can bring them back here. Besides, its more experience."
"Go ahead" Ken said. "Im going back to Route 103 to catch a Pokèmon"
"Alright" I said. "I won't hold back"
"Don't want ya to hun" she said "Now, LET'S GO!!"

It was 6:00 p.m. when I had my first Pokèmon battle. and it was hard. Very hard!!
"GO Shroomish" she said as she called out her first pokemon
"Charmander, I choose you" I said usings my first Pokemon
According to the Pokèdex Charmander is faster so it attacks first. A crowd was formed of Pokèmon trainers was formed watching Jen and my every move. It was nerve-wrecking!!
"Chramander, Scratch attack" i yellled
With one swoop of the paw Shroomish was down but not out
"Shroomish, Stun Spore" she said
And out of the top of the head but unfortunaltly for Jen, being fast has it's advantages.
"Ah it missed, Shhhoot!!" she yelled
"Now finish it off Charmander, Scratch it again" I said excited to defeat my first Pokèmon in my first Pokèmon battle.
"Char-Charmander" it cried.
With another swipe of the paw Shroomish was down AND out. Not only did Charmander grow 2 levels for being in a pokemon battle it was 3 for being in an actual battle and defeating a Pokèmon a level ahead of it but, it was already experienced at level 2 so it was 2 levels away from learning a new move, Ember.
"Thats it Ryu, your going down!" she said determined to knock out my Charmander. "GO Bulbasaur"
Charmander was faster but, Bulbasaur has more Hit Points which means it will be harder to Knock Out!
"Charmander, Scratch" i said exuberantly
It hit Bulbasaur. Bulbasaur looked like it didnt hurt but it flinched, which gave me an advantage.
"Charmander, Growl" i spoke trying to weaken Bulbasaur's Attack
"Bulbasaur" Jen said "Use Leech Seed:
"Uh,Oh" I said "Bulbasaur is already at level 7."
Charmander was geting weaker while the vine was still attached to Bulbasaurs back giving him energy.
"Erm, Chramander, scratch!!" I said trying to get a advantage.
Bulbasaur was at a stage according to the Pokèdex where with 2 more hits it would faint.
"Bulbasaur, tackle NOW" she said as Bulbasaur tackled my Charmander.
One more hit would knock out my Charmander so i remembered somthing my dad tought me: "If your Pokèmon is weak and will faint in one more hit, switch it with another pokemon it your party."
"Charmander have a potion" i said as the potion restored my Charmander.
"HA!, ill still defeat it before my Bulbasaur faints" she said cofidently.
"Oh no you won't! Charmander return" I said as I left Jen's face stunded "Go Caterpie"
My Caterpie was at level 4, a slight disadvantage but one more hit would knock it out.
"Caterpie, finish that Bulbasaur off!, Tackle!" I said with a load of cofidence as Caterpie tackled a weak Bulbasaur knocking it out and winning me the match.
"Ho-ho-ho-how could you?" she studdered as she picked up her Bulbasaur and ran into the Pokèmon Center.
"Ryu..RYU!! Good news bro!" Ken said as he ran to me from Route 103.
"Not now Ken" I said dissapointly "Lets talk about it in the Pokèmon Center.

After the match our Pokèmon where getting healed and Jen wouldn't talk to me. She wouldn't even look at me.
"Jen, what's the matter, you win some, you lose some" Ken said
"Well, there are some things I dont wanna talk about. And some people I don't wanna talk to!!" she said in a pouty mood.
Just then Nurse Joy came to the table with a late snack and our Pokèmon.
"Here you are boys, have a great night! The showers are in the back room first door to the left, beds are the first door to the right."
"Thanks" I said "Now Ken, what was the good news?"
"Well check it out for ourself" Ken said
"Come out 'ol buddy"

"You see, I told you that you would catch a Pokèmon" I said
"What can I say? You were right all along. You the MAN! HI FIVE" he said as I gave him a Hi Five.
"Oh, what a cute Pokèmon. I absloutly love Pidgeys" what level is it?" Jen said as she came back from looking at the poster of the Elite Four.
"Level 5 I believe" Ken said.
"Woah, your Squirtle is only level 2! How did you get a level 5 Pidgey? I asked.
"I trained it. My Squirtle is know level 5. Ken answered.
"Cool" I said "Lisiten, it's getting late. I'm gonna take a shower and go to bed.
"Listen Ryu, im sorry for being a snob to you" Jen said" I guess I was just mad about losing"
"It's ok!. You win some and lose some." I said "But I'm flushed, so I'll see you guys in the morning".
"Night" Ken said
"See Ya around hun" Jen said
As I was in the shower I thought about all the fun Ken and I were gonna have on this adventure, but I also couldn't stop thinking about Jen. She was gorgeous. But shes also tough. I heard the door open but couldn't see anyone because of the steam in the room.
"Who's there?" I asked.
When I got out, I looked and noone was there, I looked by my pajamas and saw my wallet.
"I know for a fact there was 65 dollars in here" I yelled down the hall after getting dressed. There was an envelope in there i opened it and saw 25 dollars and a note.
"Ryu,
Hun you are a worthy opponent. And dont worry I'll be comming with you and Ken. You could call me a "personal cheerleader"

I couldn't stop reading that letter all night, i read it when i was in bed all night untill about 11 p.m. when Ken came outta the shower. I slipped it back in my wallet.
"Hey man." Ken whispered. "Thanks for comin' with me on this journey."
"No problem." I whispered "Thats what bros are for. By the way...wheres Jen"
"Shes in the girls resting room" Ken told me
"I think I like her" I said to Ken
"She is pretty and nice" Ken said. "I'm glad to hear you like a good girl. But I'm tired so I'll talk to you tommarow."
"Good Night Ken" I said
