Okay, I'm not really good at writing long stories, so I decided to do a whole bunch of little "one shot" stories (with the occasional two part stories), and put them in a book like format. The main title is "Untold Stories of the Region", but each story will have its own title, and most will show the other side of Pokemon (not much of the battling side).

Chapter 1:The Purple Spirit

"Well, looks like the fever hasn't gone down, Mrs. Wilson," stated the doctor, packing up the thermometer into his old, clutter filled briefcase.

"Oh," sighed Mrs. Wilson. She glanced down at her little girl, Allison, who was moaning in pain, and skin was as pail as the fur of a Dewgong. "Do I just continue to give her the medicine?"

"Well, yes, but there's something I should tell you," the doctor said, a little uneasy. "Allison might not get better."

"What?" Mrs. Wilson murmured, a little uneasy, voice cracking up a little.

"You see, Allison was never a truly healthy child, even from birth, as you know from experience." The doctor explained, pulling a chair from the corner of the room, and avoiding eye contact from either of the ladies. "She has a weak immune system, and has gotten countless fevers before."

"But she's always gotten better from them," snapped back Mrs.Wilson.

"That is true, but this fever is more serious then the other ones. Allison has been in her bed for weeks, but with no improvement," sadly explained the doctor, covering his face with his hand. "Her body is just not taking to the medicine like the other times, and her condition is getting worse. There's a good chance she might... not make it."

Mrs.Wilson just stood cold in her place, at a lost for words, as pail as Allison herself. The news delivered to her had hit like a fist punching her hard in the gut. Finally, she was able to mutter something softly.

"There's no hope?"

"Well, just continue to give her the medicine, and try to make her eat something. We are expecting to get a shipment of medicine from Veilstone in about a week, but by then, it might be to late,"sadly said the doctor.

"Oh," Mrs.Wilson muttered, holding in a tear. "Well, thanks for your help."

"No problem, Mrs. Wilson," said the doctor, picking up his bag, getting ready to leave. "Well, if anything happens, you know where to call me."

"Don't worry, I will."

When the doctor left the Wilson's residence, Mrs. Wilson broke out into tears. She felt helpless, like everything she's done to help her daughter just wasn't enough.

When Allison first got sick as a baby, she made the decision to leave Cerelean City, her hometown, to a cleaner place. She thought Floroma Town would be perfect, due to the Valley Windworks nearby that powered the town, without harming the air. The vividly colored flowers were also cheerful at times.

She even had a pet Leafeon, named Iris, at a time for Allison, do to its ability to use photosynthesis. Allison loved Iris, and vice versa. It seemed like she would grown up to be a happy, healthy child. That is, until one night, when someone came in and stole Iris. Though not sure, Mrs.Wilson has the thought Team Galactic stole her, do to them causing problems at the Windworks at the past.

"Goodnight, Allison. " Mrs. Wilson, still crying, bent over and kissed her on the cheek. "I love you." Allison just stayed sleeping, breathing heavely.

Mrs.Wilson walked out of Allison's room, making sure to quietly close the door, but watched her the whole time, in case this would be the last time she could watch her.

Sometime during the middle of the night, Allison awoke to the eerie wind outside. The wind seemed stronger tonight, thought Allison, but thought little of it, and went back to bed.

Something then started to bang hard at her window. She nearly jumped out of her bed, afraid that this was a Team Galatic Grunt trying to break in.

The thing bangged at the window again. Allison got a good look at the hand. It looked like a yellow heart attached to a string.

Allison was relieved to find out it wasn't a human that was bothering her. But she still wanted to know what was at her window. Quietly, she got out of her bed, and weakly walked over to the window.

At the window, she saw that the pokemon at the window was none other than a Drifloon, which are seen often around these part. But this one seemed different in a way. It had been so long since she's seen one. In fact, she hasn't seen one fly gently in the sky since she and Iris used to play outside.

"Hi little buddy," weakly said Allison to the Drifloon. "What are you still doing up?'

"Floon!" happily cried the Drifloon. It started to do a little dance in the air.

"You're a happy little guy, aren't you?"

"Drif drif," agreed the Drifloon, nodding its head.

Suddently, it dawned to Allison what was different about the Drifloon. Where the distinguishing yellow X on its face used to be, a yellow star was their instead.

" I like your star," complimented Allison.

"Floon."

Drifloon then somehow stuck its hand through the window, and kept it stuck out right in front of Allison, paciently waiting.

Allison looked down at the hand. "Is this you're way of saying you want to be friends?"

Drifloon didn't say anything, and continued to hold out its hand.

"Well, I want to to be your friend."

Allison then grabbed the Drifloon's hand. At that instance, a bright flash took over the both of them, and at that moment, Allison became one with Drifloon.

"What just happened?" asked Allison, puzzled.

Allison looked down at the floor. She felt perfectly fine, except, she couldn't feel the floor. In fact, she lost all feeling anywhere in her body. A little confused, she tried to pick up a book that her mom would read to her at night, when she was feeling down. Feeling like she frimly grasped it, she tried to pick it up, but to no sucess.

"What'd you do to me?" Allison asked the Drifloon.

Drifloon then gently pulled Allison by the arm through the wall, and surprisingly, she crossed through the wall with no problems.

"Did I just?" questioned Allison, more shocked than confused. Allison couldn't quite figure it out, but all she could figure out was that she turned into a ghost-like being " Did you do this?"

"Floon," Drifloon nodded. He then turned Allison towards the sky, and pointed his free hand to the night sky.

"Do you want to show me something?" asked Allison.

"Drifloon."

Drifloon then started to fly towards the night sky, still holding Allison by the hand. Allison, still a little confused, started to think this Drifloon encounter wasn't a random encounter. He wanted to show her something, something in the sky. And who was Allison to say no to a friend.

Part 2 coming soon

I really like what you've got so far.

I hope there's a new chapter soon, it's that good.

Thanks for the compliment. Always appreciated.

Chapter 2: Just Have to Believe

As Drifloon cotinued to carry Allison higher and higher off the ground, Allison was getting more and more nervous, as her small house was shrinking out of sight.

"Please... please don't drop me," Allison asked frightened.

"Don't worry, Floon won't drop you."

"Who's there?" Asked Allison. She could have sworn that she heard a voice nearby.

"Look up," spoke the voice.

Allison followed orders and looked up, but all she saw was Drifloon, who was looking down at her.

"Was it you that spoke to me?" Allison asked Drifloon. "But I thought Pokemon couldn't talk."

"You are correct, for both parts," answered Drifloon. "But Floon have a good explination for both. All Floon need you to do is let go of my hand."

"Wait, what?" asked Allison. "I can't do that, I'll die!"

"Trust Floon, you won't fall. Now let go," ordered Drifloon.

"Are.. are you sure?" Allison nervously asked.

"Let go," ordered Drifloon again.

At that moment, Allison let go of Drifloon's hand, and immidiantly covered her eyes with her hands. She stayed like that for a good few minutes, until she saw that she wasn't falling. In fact, she was floating in the night sky.

"Didn't Floon tell you?" responded Drifloon.

"Whoa," was all that Allison was able to mutter out of her mouth.

She looked down at Floroma. Though what used to fear her while looking down, now filled her with awe. The windmill at the Windworks looked like a miniature pinwhell like the ones that her mom gave her at times, after she went shopping. The flowers also speckled the green ground like confetti covered a table at a party. She then looked up. The moon never looked so awe inspiring, shining like a king over its castle called Sinnoh, and the stars its followers. She never thought something could look so beautiful.

"Amazing, isn't it?" Drifloon said out of nowhere.

"Yeah," was all that Allison said, as she continued to look.

"Now, come on, we've got a busy night, and Floon need to tell you something," Drifloon order.

"Oh yeah," answered Allison, out of her transe, " How are you able to speak to me?"

"Well, you are correct. Pokemon normally can't speak to humans in their language, but the reason I'm able to speak to you is this. I'm your guardian angel," explained Drifloon.

"Really? Wow," said Allison, amazed. "So, you're not a real pokemon?"

"Well, I used to be, but now, I'm nothing but the spirit of a deceased Drifloon, and you're guardian angel," Drifloon continued on. "I have watched over you since you were a little girl."

"So, you know everything about me? About my life? My mom? My illness?" Allison asked.

"Yep," answered, Drifloon. In fact, its your illness that I want to talk to you about.

"Oh," Allison responded. "Well, you should know that I'm dying, Drifloon."

"Yeah, I was their during the conversation," responded Drifloon.

"And there's nothing anyone can do but hope," Allison said, starting to cry.

"Now that is where you are wrong," snapped back Drifloon. " There is always something that anyone can do, and that is believe."

"What do you mean? " Allison said, still crying somewhat.

"Though hope is always important, believing is the real fight. As long as you can believe, nothing seems impossible."

"But, its real hard to believe, while knowing any day could be your last," Allison said, now sobbing.

"But that is why Floon here. Floon need you to believe that you can get through this, and Floon know just how to do that," Drifloon explained.

"Really?" Allison asked, somewhat stopped crying.

"Really." assured Drifloon. "Now, follow me, if you want to believe again."

"Okay," agreed Allison.

"Next stop, Sandgem Town," said Drifloon.

And like that, Drifloon and Allison were off to Sandgem Town, on a journey to help Allison. Though Allison knew nothing of what was up ahead, she did know she could believe it would be exciting.

Chapter 3 coming soon
