Up vs. Down v36: The War Room vs. Fun and Games

Welcome one and all to the shiny new Up vs. Down version 36! The idea for this one was created by @Lunaala! Simply select a side and your name will be added to the opening post.

As for the team names:
The War Room: The Soldiers
Fun and Games: The Gamers

Rules:
- Game starts at 250.
- The Soldiers can only count down with the goal of reaching 0.
- The Gamers can only count up with the goal of reaching 500.
- Players can choose to play for either team but you cannot change teams after you have chosen.
- No ping-ponging rule applies, which means you cannot make another post in the thread until at least two other users have made a post since you last posted.
