Phew, I guess it's time for me to host another UvD, huh? Well, fear not! *ahem*

Ladies and gentlemen of Fun and Games! MassiveShock11 presents to you... the 75th season of Up vs Down! Who will be pit into an exhilarating, totally not one-sided number battle for this season? Let's find out!

In the Up team, we have Gardevoir, the closest thing a Pokemon can be to a bodyguard...

And in the Down team, we have Gallade, whose bladed arms remind me of those dueling devices in Yu-Gi-Oh for some reason...

Pitting two fusion deities in a number fight was fun, but let's make things simpler by putting Pokemon from a branching evolution of Kirlia. So, who will win? Team Up, or Gardevoir's Devoted Guardians of Beauty? Or will Team Down aka Gallade's Bladed Beasts rise up to glory? Let's find out!

RULES:
  • The game begins at 250. Two teams will try to either bring the number down, or raise it up until it reaches the goal.
  • Gardevoir's Devoted Guardians of Beauty's goal is to bring the number up to 500, while Gallade's Bladed Beasts will try to count down to 0 instead. You can only count by +1/-1.
  • On your first post, you can choose a team by counting either up or down and reminding us your chosen side, but you cannot change teams after that. It is recommended to mention me (@MassiveShock11) so I can add your name to your corresponding team's list.
  • No ping-ponging. What this means is after posting, you should wait for at least two different people to post before counting up/down again. That way, we can avoid this:

Final note: Choose your side rationally. You can either take an easy route and go for the winning team, or give yourself an extra challenge by trying to make the underdog team fight back. This is kind of optional, but hey! This will help me, as a host, see the players fighting their hardest, which I prefer more to one-sided games. But I don't like monotonous and boring stalemates either. So keep it simple and fun, and make the game something great for a battle set in the third quarter to 100. Without further ado... let the battle begin!
