Greetings, one and all, and welcome to the next instalment of everyone's favourite game, Up Verses Down! In this age-old battle of the elemnets, we shall decide which shall come out on top once and for all - the frigid chill of Ice or the blazing heat of Fire.

...Hype-talk aside, this is my first Up vs. down game that I'm actually hosting, so I hope I don't screw it up. But that's besides the point, for those of you who have never played an Up vs. Down game, here are the rules:


Players choose a side, in this case the Infernal Champions (a.k.a. Team Fire) or the Glacial Defenders (a.k.a. Team Ice).

This game uses a point system, with the amount of points at the start of the game being 250.

Once players have chosen their side, they then proceed to vote for said side, pushing it towards their desired gaol - 500 for the Infernal Champions: and 0 for the Glacial Defenders - one point per post, until one side acheives said goal and wins the game.

Additionally, once players have chosen a side, they may not betray that side.

And one last thing - a player must have two posts between their last vote before they can vote again. For example, Player A must wait for Player B and Player C to post before Player A can post again. In other words, no ping-ponging.


Now, let the feilds run red with blood, let castles go up in flames (and frost)... LET THE BATTLE BEGIN!

I'll take up the motto of Ice this time around. I always liked the cool colour tones better. Count has started counting down at 249!

Also, have the most fitting music I could find for my affiliation with the cool stuff.

247. With that, I have two things to say:
  • This is the first time I've been up 'til 5AM in my time zone in a while
  • I think I know what team EO's going to be on. How fitting. Also, always wanted to fight a vulpine. Maybe not the Yggdrasil kind, though. Not yet anyway.
Have a good thread, folks. I'll be off to bed and I expect us to have gone nowhere by the time I wake up.

It was so tough choosing sides - love both sides.... I still favor the fire sides more as my favorite type.
My top 6 favorite Pokemon are all fire types.
(Flareon, Ninetales, Braixen, Vulpix, Fennekin, Delphox)
My name also has part fire in it - Firox - Fire and Fox

Making the decision of sticking with the fire.
