...Ah, that's better. Anyway, as I was saying, welcome to the latest verison of the world's deadliest game, Up vs. Down, and that chaotic start was rather appropriate, since, as the thread title indicates, the two sides I have for you today just so happen to both be purveyors of pandemonium, makers of madness and tinkerers in all things turmoil. In the banana corner, the Draconequus feared by fillies (and colts) across Equestriaor at least he used to be, he's... DISCORD! And in corner 42, he spaces out in outer space, he's... Q! Well, one of them anywy... These two chaotic crackpots seem to be having some disagreement over which of them can cause the most chaos... and, for some strange reason, the have turned to the nice folks on these here forums to decide. Not sure why, or how for that matter, your guess is as good as mine with these two.
I don't really know much about Star Trek, so that's the best I could do, sorry.
Now, I would make a joke about there being no point to having rules in the first place with all this chaos around, but as fun as it would be otherwise, this thing would be kinda pointless without rules, so here's some frail attempts to provide order to this chaotic mess:
-For those of you who haven't played in one of these before, basically the game starts at a certien number (250 in this case) and each time a player posts, said number is either increased or decreased, depending on what team said players are on, until either side's goal has be reached.
-Drink 6-8 glasses of water a day. Don't drink the water though.
-As for which side counts which way, well, Discord's Disciples are the ones counting up and win when the lofty heights of 500 have been climbed, while Q's Comrades have to drag it all the way down to 0 in order to win the day.
Shhh, it's a secret.
-Also, once you choose what team you're on, you may not defect to the other team mid-way through the game. Even for a game about chaos, that's just unfair.
-Laziness is fun.
-And finally, if you want to post, there must be two posts by other players between your last post and where your current post would show up. In other words, no ping-ponging.
But hey, enough about order, it's time to cause some chaos up in here! Let the battle begin!
