The movie is called "Wreck-It Ralph", and it stars a video game villain named Ralph, who wants to prove he can be a good guy. Typical Disney movie, we can all agree to that. Except for this:

Also found a trailer for it over at IGN: Link

Never thought such a movie would appear someday. I mean, we usually get the typical game movies, the Tomb Raider movies, the Super Mario Bros movie (as much as I hate to admit it exists), and so on. This one seems to break the norms, though. What do you think?

And while we're ad it, let's try find as many video game characters we can. I'll start:

I think I found Agent 47 from Hitman somewhere in the first picture. Might be wrong though.

Looks awesome. Pretty much is reminding me of Who Framed Roger Rabbit with video game characters.

I heard they were using video-game characters in this, but I assumed they were going to be copyright-free pastiches and such. But fuck, seeing LITERALLY Bowser and Dr. Eggman blew my mind.

This could be the next "Who Framed Roger Rabbit." I am so hyped for this movie. And what's this?

My God......
All I can say is that it sounds both astounding and absurd.

Also, is that Q*Bert in the first pic?
...and of course, the ever-present Bowser in the second photo, along with the orange ghost from Pac-Man.

This... actually looks pretty interesting. However, I have to wonder what they'll need to do about copyright and whatnot.

They already got them cleared, obviously.

If they've got 'em in the pics already, I assume that copyrights have been dealt with already.

EDIT: Ninja'd.

And seeing as this is a Disney film with video game villains, I bet the Mad Doctor/Phantom Blot from Epic Mickey might have a little cameo in there somewhere.

I was worried that this was just going to be a bunch of dated game references (videogames are Pac-Man and Space Invaders!), so it's great to see that they've really been doing some reasearch.
I love the fact that even the zombie is an actual game character and not just a generic design made for the film.

"When did videogames become so violent and scary?!"
Man. That line.

The purple Rhino is the final boss of Altered Beast, as well.

Why must they always give Zangief a villain role in U.S. medium? The Cold War is already over.

Dang, you beat me to the punch! By a lot XD

I'm really looking forward to this movie, if only for the fact that I have to respect them for getting the rights to show all of those characters. We need more stuff like this.

Same here. As soon as I saw that, I immediately thought, "alright... these guys might actually meet business."

I certainly want to see it when it comes out. Let's hope it's worth watching for more than the cameos.

The little orange thing looks a bit like Q-Bert. Ah...lovely...Saturday Supercade. lol

*Gives anyone a cookie who is old enough to remember Saturday Supercade or knows of it*

Sounds interesting, though.

Was that the old 80s show with those Donkey Kong and Donkey Kong Jr. shorts? And yes, that is indeed Q*bert, as well as the enemy characters from the game.

Yep. That old CBS block from the early 80s that showed all those game-based shows.

*Gives you cookies* ^_^

Because in America, the idea of a good Russian is unthinkable. (Well, at least when it comes to Russian men. Russian women are desired by a lot of American men for being "hot". I hate that - can't men be fanservice too?) And it might have to do with him being quite far from attractive. Americans like their ugly guys to be either villains or comic relief.

I agree that I'm tired of seeing Zangief being portrayed as a villain. I always found him funny (what with running around in a speedo, wrestling bears, and acting kinda gay).
