Sorry if this has been done.

Basically if you're currently writing a fanfic and want to give your audience a little tast of whats coming up here you can show some of your story and hopefully get a few people excited for the full thing.

Here's mine, it's a Poke/AdvanceShipping Romance-come-Adventure-come-(kind of)Comedy called 'Wrong Time Wrong Place'.

Disclaimer: I do not own Pokemon or the Characters.

‘Today’s the day,’ Misty thought too herself, gleaming with excitement ‘Three months, three whole months it’s been since I last saw Brock and…’ She paused and giggled to herself ‘Ash…’ she stopped staring out of the window, onto the long dusty path she had travelled many times.

She’d been looking for a good half an hour if not longer, with everybody she saw come over the horizon, her heart raced; she was clinging onto hope that it might be Ash. It wasn’t the only thing she clinging onto, she looked down to she her Togepi had dozed off, she’d forgotten she was holding it, she often did that, when she was thinking. She put her egg Pokemon on the couch. She sat by it and looked out again, a girl around her age and a boy much you than her rose over horizon and she remembered Brock and Pikachu wouldn’t be the only guests Ash was bringing with him.

I should warn you that it is not for young readers, but that'll happen when it does.

Ok your turn.

After I finish my Fakedex (see sig), I plan on writing a fic based on them....so, it's kinda like a Journey Fic...but with tons of OCs and OPs (Original Pokemon) as well as a decent plot.

Basically it follows Oren, who is the "male player" in Topaz and Jade as he fights the Gym Leaders, but also the bad guys play a big part. And Delfin is his main Pokemon.

Here's a part of chapter one of my Sinnoh story. The dub title's: A Part of the Red Sea! (Credit to Butler, my dubber)

“CHUCK! IT'S 8 AM!” shouted an annoyed female voice.

The boy in the covers stirred, trying to continue sleeping.

“MUM! I'M TIRED!” the boy shouted down.

“CHUCK, I THOUGHT YOU WANTED TO WATCH POKÉMON WATCH TODAY! SOMETHING ABOUT CLINT BRAGGING ABOUT IT! SO GET OFF YOU LAZY BAZOO AND WAKE UP!” the mum shouted back up. “I'LL GIVE YOU THE COUNT OF THREE! ONE, TWO, THRE-"

My new fanfic, The Living Spark, will try to combine spiritual elements with the sci-fi stuff in the Transformers' movieverse.

Very little real human stuff, mostly focuses on the bots.

Basically, it explores the Allspark's relationship to the Transformers, particularly Soundwave and Bumblebee.

I'm ashamed to admit that I'm taking a stab at the New Trainer fic myself...

Dusky sunlight spilled through the half-drawn blinds, pooling on the floor. A few moments later, an alarm clock began to beep shrilly. The occupant of the bed groaned, before reaching over and smacking the off button.
A few minutes later, she groggily climbed out of bed, tripping over her stack of manga before she made it to the bathroom.
Charlotte flicked the light switch on and reached for her toothbrush. Was it that time of year already?
Every year for the past four years, Professor Oak had sent her a postcard, none-too-tactfully reminding her that most children left at age ten on their pokemon journey. Of course, there were some late bloomers, and others who simply did not wish to train pokemon, but Charlotte was a different story.
When she was eight, her father had died in a wild pokemon attack, a shocking but not altogether unheard-of-occurrence. Silph Co. had paid off her family handsomely to evade a lawsuit, but Charlotte was more interested in books and studying than in pokemon anyway.
Still, the issue of grief, counterfeit as it may have been, had worked to keep Oak’s letters at bay for two years. After that, her mother had found a better job offer and moved to the Johto Region to work for a small law firm.
It was not right for a child to live at home alone. Journeying alone was one thing, but rattling around in a house? Unthinkable!
She pulled on a pair of black jeans that were relatively clean, before hunting around for her backpack. She had packed it a week in advance, but it seemed to have vanished. As Charlotte began rooting around in her room, the doorbell rang.
“Great. Just bloody great.”
She stood and walked downstairs, before peering through the peephole in the door to see a man in a blue uniform with a Ponyta. Ah. The mail.

@Phantomess: There's nothing wrong with new trainer, as long as you keep the characters strong, the mini/sub plots good, and avoid overly strong twists.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------

Basically, my story involves how pokemon actually began... A meteorite strike hits Wisconsin, spreading radiation and fusing with west nile or avian bird flu on August 13, 2007 (when there was a meteor shower) and beginning a mutation on the nearby animals on the path to what would eventually become pokemon.

The world is slow to recover - as the virus spreads, most fish began to require a lot more water, and radiation causes a few species to absorb water. This creates a heavy water shortage, meaning that most of the drier areas are in need. This creates a demand for water, and no where is this felt more in the Great Lakes area, where the radiation causing the loss of water actually began.

When congress passes a directive to create a pumping network to take the load off of the local rivers around the great lakes area, Michigan, Indiana, Illinois, and Wisconsin, as well as, limited wise, Ohio and Minnesota, protests begin. However, the government, led by Hilary Rodham Clinton late into her first term, does not want to upset Ohio, Illinois, and Michigan, three powerful, sometimes swing states, for the upcoming election, and so stops. However, the reverberations spread throughout the nation, and when 2012 rolls around the first Independent candidate, a centrists, takes office. While he figured to get at least a fifth of the vote, he instead got two fifths, while the main two republic and democrat candidates, as well as another candidate, took less than that. The electoral college voted after deliberation (and bribery by said centrists, though no one knew this at the time) to elect him.

With a president set, the centrist party fused, consisting of more centrally viewed Democrats and Republicans, making what in a few elections stabilized as a three party system.

As Ron Lankford took office, the Colorado River reached a record low, and further outcries from the west were met by an answer that their desalinization process was coming. It never did, as the impeachment of Lankford put Vice President Ulysses Rowan as president. Rowan, secretly more leftist than he appeared, realised that losing California would result in the loss of Centrist and Democrat chances for presidency. With this in mind, he began to enforce the bills from five years ago to begin equal distribution again.

Once again, they were met by resistance, and the Michigan and Indiana State Militias led the protest. Suddenly, things got military, and Rowan had a revolution on his hands.

Quickly it bushfired, as China and various Arab extremists sent support in men, training, and supplies to aid the Great Lakes Alliance against America.

Basically the story starts with my main character in Lansing, Michigan, the home of the Independence Delegation, on April 1st, when the Independence Declaration was issued, along with the Lansing Accords, which fortified the Great Lakes Alliance and set up an emergency government led by the five state governors.

The first portion of my story is basically an OT/journey fic, with deep side plots. The second portion delves into...well something other than whats in the first portion. I have posted the first few chapters here, already.

I know. It's just a pain not to Mary-Sue my OC. *shakes head*

Tell me about it. I read the greatest fan fic on another forum and the main female character was named Mary-Sue and he jokes about how she was unbeatable. And why did Satoshi Ketchum have to make the meteor strike in Wis. I live there. *grumbles and is offended*

That was me actually, and the only reason that happens, is that I live in Michigan, and so with the general wind going east, it would spread into my state, which is the central state of the Great Lakes Alliance...

Another fic idea is Gary Stu and the Mysterious Apple. It is about Gary Stu, who has three pokémon. He is a Gary-Stu. This has bad description on purpose as a joke by the way. Read ahead if you're prepared. PS. It has some jokes about the bad description as well.

Gary Stu and the Mysterious Apple
Chapter One: Description
The boy had been on the inter-webs. He had searched his name and what came up was stuff about characters being invincible. Eating his chocolate muffin, Gary Stu googled “google”. He wore bright red clothes, with no more description to be added.

“I BE THE KING!”

On the inter-webs with him were his Typhlosion, that was a big creature with fire on it and couldn't be described as much else, his Mr Pika T, that was a small yellow mouse with a lightning shaped tail and red cheeks and a mohawk, it was his starter, oh and you can't forget his random Magikarp of Doom. It was a red fish.

“MAGIKARPZORZ!” said his random Magikarp of Doom.

Sorry I guess I was thinking that name because I had just read it at the top of the page. And that makes sense but still... *grumbles.* I actually hate where I live feel free to blow it up.

Here's a preview of a fic I'm planning to eventually do. It's a retelling of the events in GSC, only adding personality and things like that. Well, here goes:

Gold was a typical 12-year old boy; he was lazy, rude, and arrogant. He dressed in mostly red, white, yellow, and black. He wore a red and white jacket and yellow and black shorts. He also wore a black and yellow baseball cap backwards, with a little hair sticking out of the front.

If Gold was passionate about something, he would obsess over it. It would become his life. If not, he would detest it. That was why after his friends Silver and Crystal had left on their Pokemon journies over two months ago, he was still putting it off.

"Gold! Get out of bed now!" his mother shouted.

"Just 5 more minutes! Please!"

"You said that an hour ago! Get up!"

"Fine! Sheesh."

Gold jumped out of bed, stretched, and headed downstairs for breakfast. He knew that his mom would ask him to leave yet again, and he knew that the following argument would result in him staying. It had been like that for the last 2 months.

"Gold, you have to leave by tommorow," Golds' mother said.

"No. I said I wasn't going. That's final," Gold replied.

"And I say you are going. It costs money to register you for the Pokemon League, and there's an additional fee of p20000 if you don't leave by tomorrow."

"Fine! Tomorrow."

"All right. Today, you pack."

"Mooooommm.."

"Also, your Pokegear is back from the repair shop. Don't be so reckless on your skateboard. I swear, someday you're going to kill yourself."

Gold took the Pokegear without a word. It had broken when he fell while attempting to do a spinning flip off of his skateboard.

"After breakfast, head to Proffesor Elm's lab. He needs you to run an errand for him," said Gold's mother.

Well? How is it? And by the way, Silver's NOT the rival character. I named him Riv.

I have an old comedy fic lying around here somewhere. Now and then I have some idea of how to continue with it, but the fact is I have absolutely no idea what to do with the main plotline. I know I wanted to spoof "Abridged Series" fads and the Misty-Sue phenomenon which has begun to run wild, plus some throwaway subplot involving the uncanny resemblance between a canon character and Hyatt from Excel Saga, but I can't figure out how to make anything move along. I wrote far too many apathetic characters and them doing stuff just doesn't work.

Sounds good, any idea when you'll be fifnished?

Don't give up! Revive it!

PKMN Exterminators

Im not sure if im good enough to write a fic. I prefer drawing on MS paint than writing stories. But who knows what the future holds?

I baically only have an idea right now, a reverse Mystery Dungeon. Basically one of the MD Pokemon comes to the "Pokemon+human" world. I don't know whether it should stay as a Pokemon and play through the reactions of the character not understanding why his species is not dominant, or have the character turned human and sympathis towards the Pokemon.

I was also thinking of the main character going into our world turning human, not understanding what happened. He realises his world is just a popular videogame franchise and has to cope with his new life.

I've had an idea bouncing around my head for about two years regarding an OT fic based off the events of FRLG. I realized that a LOT of what goes on really didn't make much sense. So, of course, it would be partly insane conspiracy theory. Basically, it's a deconstruction of the Pokemon world. It's presented as a happy, peaceful place. Totally unrealistic. So, I wanted to make a realistic OT fic. I ran down a list of noobish mistakes, and decided to make none of them. My character's Pokemon are original, especially his starter, a Staryu. He is not in any way the Chosen One, or all that important in the grand scheme of things. The protagonist possesses no special powers, beyond intelligence, and a quick wit. His traveling partners are a talking Primeape and a depressed punk girl. And Giovanni becomes a sympathetic, though still villainous character.
Actually, the entire story is narrated by the protagonist's starter, the Staryu known as Estraad. In between each chapter, there will be in-universe documents. One-shots, newspaper articles, a private letter, memos, lectures, and much more. If it's successful, I plan on writing a large number of other stories set in that universe.
