Introduction
Welcome to the first-ever Bulbagarden double-elimination tournament. The purpose of this tourney is to provide an environment in which players can face against other skilled trainers via Wi-Fi and go for the gold. This tournament also allows participants to get to know other players and share ideas and strategies to benefit both sides.
Tournament Information
This tournament will be conducted using a double-elimination format. This means that you can lose once before your second loss eliminates you from the tourney. This format gives those who lost either via a fluke or an unintentional disconnection another chance in the tournament. The intended number of participants is eight, but the the bracket will be extended to sixteen if enough players register. Prizes will be determined upon the creation of the bracket.
Tournament Guidelines
- Please follow all of the forum rules when participating in this tournament.
- EV training is not required for participation, but is highly recommended.
- The default method of battling is via Wi-Fi. Each battle will be Singles, set to Level 100. Voice Chat can be turned on or off depending on your preferences.
- Each player must use the same team during that round. Players can change their teams after the round is over.
- Please do not use this thread as a way to contact your opponent. Sending a message via PM, AIM, or another messaging method will always be more useful.
- Try to not cheat or use illegal Pokémon. If you are found to have cheated or used illegal Pokémon, you will be given a loss and your opponent will advance.
- Once a battle has concluded, please report the results of the battle, along with you and your opponent's name. For the result to be accepted, both sides must confirm it.
