As a student of the visual arts, seeing Ash's latest battle with Paul has me thinking OLM is pulling double time. Seriously, the drama and the rotating angles are, how should I say, viewtiful. Do think battles in the anime have gotten more entertaining? cuz that's a trend I'm seein

To me the battles have become more technical, like they started involving Pokemon abilities and things like Light Screen effects and etc. Visually the attacks and the Pokemon have become better, and are drawn in a higher quality(being over a decade since the first episode..yeah) but there are more explosions and more "sparkly" 3-D animations that are not needed at all.
