I'm sure there's a thread like this in the forum, but I'm too lazy to look for it.

We European fans have to wait another two damned months before we get Pokemon Platinum! I find that, pretty much, a pain in the arse. I'm all hyped up for it, and that's gotta last me two more months! We're a devoted people to Pokemon, so surely we deserve it brought to us a bit quicker! I don't know why Nintendo can't have it released around the same time. (If anyone knows, do tell me why.)

I'm gonna have it shipped over from www.gamestop.com though, so I'm okay. It's only £35, a fiver more than it would cost in store. But I feel for you other European fans. Your pain is shared with me. <3

I know!
And it really pisses me off when Nintendo are like "You can do this and this with this event Pokemon! Only in Japan". I'm like "Thanks Nintendo. Let's not have the rest of the world get the full potential of these games".
Bah. That's why I use Action Replay!

The lack of events is pretty bad because there are so many chances to go to events in Japan and quite a number in America, but close to none in Europe. I wish they would finally utilize downloadable content instead of these outdated events...

Meh look at it this way, buy the time that pokemon comes to Europe there will be a ton of trade content via the gts and maybe people won't ask for crazy stuff anymore. I know that once I get to the breeder spot and capture a dito I'll be making many many many copies of my starter and hopefully others will do he same right now, I don' have anything that people are willing to trade the other starters for.

Awwww, sorry to hear that. If you can't wait, maybe you can import it.

They should utilize Wi-Fi more than they already are.

DS games cost a fortune here and there are very few stores that sell them, and they sell so many bootlegs I don't know what to think. I want to order the game online, but it's a real hassle. =(

I can wait and I am not that desperate for Platinum. Another factor why I wouldn't import other than the cost is that, although there is no problem with the compatibility between EU and US games now, there may be issues in the future when the next generation turns up.

Europeans have to wait for the translation, thats why it takes a while.

Poor Australia, has to wait for the European version, yet English is the official language, wtf hey.

i always find it irritatig that we have to wait for translation even though the game is already in english
i dont know why they dont do game releases on a large scale ny language say release it in all englih speaking regions at the same time and then translate for others
as for events the last event we had in th uk was last year but wehn we have them they alway seem to be either in london or birmingham or somewehre like that whih when like me you cant drive is absolutel useless

Nintendo are like, the only company which releases their big name titles so long after each other in different regions.

Do we? Really come on now import the damn thing and stop complaining. Well thats if you can. Oh and im saying this cause i live in europe and all the major retail stores own 1 or 2 imported copies of it.

Not everyone can import so easily, you know. Some people are minors, some people can't get video games sent to their own country without going through hoops, some don't even have money for it.

Just because you don't have any problems doesn't mean other people are problem-free. Try being a little more sensitive.

I would be more than happy with the english version. But instead, I have to wait two months. I'm not so crazy about it that I'll import it.
