The year is 2012. Democratic presidential candidate Barack Obama won a decisive victory against Republican candidate Mitt Romney. Mitt had all the backing of the GOP, so the GOP wondered how he lost. Many divides have occurred in the two parties as a result of these candidates, and issues like electability seemed to no longer matter. The stage is set for one of the craziest elections ever.
Hello guys, and welcome to US Presidential Election 2016 Mafia. There will be 15 players, and two teams: The Democrats (Mafia) and the Republicans (town). Note that the only reason the Dems are mafia and the Reps are town is because there are far more Republicans to make roles out of, so that doesn't mean anything political. Days are 48 hours, nights are 24
Rules:
- No outside contact outside of factional communications.
- No nameclaiming, ever.
- Don't screenshot or copy-paste anything I send you. No screenshoting factional communications either.
- If the time for a phase end has passed, assume the phase to be locked regardless of whether I announce it or not.
- To prove you've read the rules, post a political meme.
- Your PMs will contain posting restrictions. While not strictly required, it is recommended you follow them for flavor.
- You must have a minimum of 5 game related posts per day phase. You will be subbed out if you don't follow this.
- Due to the political nature of this game, some political discussion is allowed, but please stay reasonable about it. For example, don't insult people for their views.
