Variations of moves you would like to see more of

Certain moves have interesting effects that are only found on one type, and whether they are useful or not, what are the moves you would like see being redone as another type?

As an example of a precedent, Generation 4 provided us with U-turn, which is a Bug-type attack that makes the user switch out to another Pokemon after attacking. Generation 5 gave us another variation of this move known as Volt Switch, which is an Electric-type version of that move, albeit with slightly different properties (such as not making contact). Of course, as a differently-typed move, it is learned by different Pokemon from U-turn.

One such move that I would like to see is a Poison-type version of Freeze-Dry. If there is a type that would benefit from this type of attack, it would be the Poison-type, and it will be exclusive for Poison-types. Unlike the Ice-type, the Poison-type's weakness is their coverage, where 4 types resist it, 2 types are weak to it and 1 type is immune to it. In terms of the type to change from resist to weakness, the only type that would reasonably get this treatment is the Steel-type, since the other types are either not popular or overwhelming enough to need this treatment. It's a win-win for Poison-types overall: they have better offensive coverage and have a reliable attack without immunities (Steel's immune turns to weakness).

One aspect of the Poison-type that would penetrate Steel-types is corrosive acid, so this attack should be based on that. Much like Freeze-Dry, it should only be exclusive to Poison-types so that they have reason to be used offensively, considering how other types could use Poison better through luring unsuspecting Fairy-types. This attack should be Special, since it affects most Steel-types' vulnerable side, especially Skarmory. With that said, while many Poison-types are Physical, there might be some that would find room for it to surprise Steel-types.

Another move I would like to see is a Grass-type version of Will-O-Wisp. It should be powder-based considering how a few status-inducing Grass moves are powder-based. This will help Grass-types and certain Bug-types by giving them an extra ability to burn opponents, this time without the ability to activate Flash Fire (although it has overall more immunities, so it kind of balances out).

So again, what move variations would you like to see?

Thanks for reading.

Steel Fang is something I am surprised that has not happened yet. The way I see it is instead of lowering a stat or having secondary effects on the target, using the move boosts your attack with the steel sharpening on each use.

Dragon Beam which is a Dragon version of Freeze Dry , Draco Punch which is Dragon version of Mega Punch, Iron Kick which is Steel version of mega kick, Toxic Punch which is Poison version of Thunder/Fire/Electric Punch.

I might be in the minority, but I don't really like variations of other moves because it takes away the advantages some types have over others. For example, early in the games grass types were the only types with drain moves, and that seemed to make sense, and now there are a lot of drain moves in existence.

Toxic Punch which is Poison version of Thunder/Fire/Electric Punch.

Whats wrong with Poison Jab, its a better version of those punch attacks.

Yeah, we really need a Poison move that hits Steel types super effectively. Either a move or an ability anyway.

I also wouldn't mind some Poison moves that can burn and paralyze, but I'm not sure which they would be a variation of (Scald/Lava Plume/Discharge, maybe?).

Ever since I saw the OR/AS animated trailer, and Mega Diancie wielding a frickin' sword, I've wanted a Fairy/Faerie Blade move, a fairy-type Leaf Blade.

Also, Water/Electric variants of Overheat pls & thank u

More moves like scald that have an effect not typically associated with that type. The only one o could think of is another water type attack that would have a chance of freezing instead, but I think there could be more possibilities.

Powder(bug) -> something for rock (cement) against water and ground(salt) against grass .
More diffrent special bug type moves.

Ghost version of Stealth Rock(something involving spirits attacking from the ground and air).

a fire type - tail move would be good. But rather Scorch Tail and based on Dragon Tail.

-more variations of Critical hit based like Frost Breath for more types.

-a rock type based Bite move. (Stein, german stone + Bite, Stein Bite or Stone Bite, could lower defence or higher flinching but lover power then bite ; Power:50, 40% inflicting flinching)

Variations of U-turn , Drain Punch and Dragontail for ghost, fairy ,bug and psychic types.

More Terrains:
Sand (ground type , grass should be 50% weaker , why sandstorm does not weaken water and ice base moves, maybe rise 50% in sp. def for ground types and hp growth?),
Ice (need the buff, hp+def rise 25%?),
Swamp(bug type, need hp and status buff, electric and fire could be reduced?),

Maybe Sand Terrain+Rainy weather could transform after a turn into a swamp.
A swamp+ sunny weather =sand, desert.

More rooms/zones: variations of Trick Room(psychic, turn based)
for ghost(Phantom zone) and Dark (Twilight). This would make dark more apart from ghost. Maybe hp , stats or both oriented?

-Pygmy Horn( a fairy version of Horn Leech, physical)
