Veronica Mars...the Comic?

There were some earlier rumblings, but this news has me really intrigued. Apparently Veronica Mars, the recently canceled CW show might just be continuing...in comic form (similar to the recent Buffy comic, which picks up from where the TV series ended). What's more, it might be published by DC, under their Wildstorm imprint (responsible for series like Midnighter, Deathblow, Gen13, etc.). Never did see the show, but this should interest fans.

There’s a bunch of us who take your word for gospel, and though it’s already sorta out there, we just wanted to send some info your way on the Veronica Mars comic books. They’ll be published by our Wildstorm imprint, which is based in San Diego, and R.T. is looking to be firmly on board. We’re even hoping for a late fall release of the first issue.
