A patch for Pokémon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire has been released that bring the game up to Version 1.1.

I completed the Pokémon Alpha Sapphire along with completing the Post-Game in the first 72 hours of the release. On the 24th this update was released. In return when I downloaded and updated the game I was given this issue:

With this it tells me that my save file has not updated to the latest version and will not allow me to move any further through the game. This also means that basically my save data is missing. I have no clue as to why it happened. I'm not exactly sure what to do and I have come here looking to see if I can find an answer.

I don't expect it to be very widespread, since this is the only report of it I've seen.
