Meh... I'm entering another art contest on PC... I didn't win last time (I didn't even come close) with my crappy beach picture (other topic). Anyways... here's the first version, which I'm editing in Paint Shop Pro right now... I might do some editing in Photoshop as well, but I couldn't possible use that program well if my life depended on it. My only good piccy on there was an experiment, if anyone remembers the Mewtwo piccy from... March, I think?

Well, enough of my usual long, drawn-out explanation. Here's the picture.

Cuuuute! ^.^ I hope Paint/Photoshop clears up some of that coloring, though. Suicune's hair is a little sloppy. ^^; But the effect is neat -- different water pokémon in its exaggerated hairstyle. Good luck with the contest. ^_^v

Well, I finally finished the picture, and needless to say... I'm not proud of it. *sniff*

Where did I go wrong?! I remember when my piccy was knee-high!

..okay, I'm weird. *runs*

Aii, Lapras... ^^

This is cute, Hana! *hugs Lapras* Suicune looks kind of chibified and cuddly - the idea of having ocean Pokémon in its mane is clever! The effects you've chosen for the watery mane look really good, too. Poliwag is nicely done, even though it doesn't seem too happy, poor thing. ;-; Dragonair looks cute too, and I like Chinchou - though I think the final would've looked better if you'd added a little yellow semi-transparent "glow" to make it look like it was flashing, like in the pencil coloured one. I hope it's okay if I'm a little fussy about Lapras. ^^;; Firstly, I think Lapras needs her usual darker blue spots, and the nostrils should be a little further down her nose. Her jaw should probably curve down a little more, as well - Lapras' head is fairly round overall. The fins look good though, and I like the way you've coloured the eyes! Oh, and I should add that the shading looks great on the whole thing. ^^

Hope I was able to help a little, and good luck with your contest! ^_^

Well, it at least tells me what I've been doing wrong. At least it'll help me improve on my.. less than decent artwork. ^^;;;

On a side note... I have yet another piccy. I'm assuming at least one person other than me has watched Yu Yu Hakusho... right? ^^;;

...

Well.. here's the demon form of Kurama, Yoko Kurama.

(note to self: don't do backgrounds when it's almost midnight.)

(I'm so ashamed.. I screwed up on a large number of things... oh... ;_;)

Here's my two cents. ^^;;

Ocean Pokémon: I like the whole pic. I love the poses and the winks on some of the pokémon faces. As ABL said, Suicune looks like a chibi, is cute. However, I agree that you should have done Lapras' head more rounded and added the spots on its body.

Yoko Kurama: I've never seen that series, but I think what you made with the colors and expression is good. I love the texture you gave it with your pencils, because it looks really nice. *stares once more at the picceh*.... OH! It looks like a Yami InuYasha! :O *glomps*

Ocean Pokemon Really lovely, soft and smoothe. I like ow you put the Pokemon in Suicunes mane, and how the texture on Suicune's mane become more and more watery. The pokemon all have a high cuteness factor, only Lapras expresion seems a bit wierd to me (though it looks funny)

Yoko Kurama: Never heard of it, but I like the piccy. The texture's nice and the backgound isn't too bad, it's texture makes it look nice. I love how the criples in the cloths are shaded, it really makes them come out well.
