Is the very first generation of Pokemon cards still commercially sold in Canada? Or would you only be able to buy the next generation(s) from stores?
 
Only the EX sets are available, except in rare cases when some e- sets are still in stock, like an EBGames I went to a year and a half ago, who said nobody bought them because nobody realized they were there, and I got an e-Expedition.

Sadly, Base Set 2, the best set ever, and the others up to but not including EX: Ruby & Sapphire aren't available. When D/P comes out, the EX sets will slowly disappear.
