VG Weekly Poll #11 Do you use the Pokémon Global Link?

Welcome to the eleventh installment in the Video Games Forum's new weekly series of polls!

Centered around the Pokemon series of video games, these polls will be based on the various different aspects of the popular video game franchise. Every Monday, a Video Games staff member will post a new poll that'll remained stickied up on top of the forum. I use the Dream World, but not the GBU but I normally only visit it when there is a new Global Link event happening which includes new C-Gears skins, pokédex skins, dream world areas and event pokémon or sometimes I just login without using the Dream World or GBU to recieve some dream points or put in passwords to recieve the events at a later time. When I use the Dream World for pokédex and C-Gear skins I befriend a Pokémon from a dream world area at the same time.

What normally happens is, I go on the Dream World every day for about a week, then completely forget about it for a month, then go on for a week again. I don't go on the GBU at all.

I use DW occasionally, but not the GBU.

I'm using the Dream World to help with my Pokedex, but never used the GBU.

I don't use either. But with a valid reason! My messed up internet doesn't understand the word Pokemon. You'd think about how I get around as a Pokemon fan right? I've always wanted to use it, and would probably use the Dream World often, and the GBU rarely. Trying to fix my internet soon. Too many bulbagarden threads with the forbidden word.

I only use the Global Link to use the Dream World. I dont use it that often either. I often lose interest in it, then suddely use it for a week or two if there is a new area or C-gear skin.

I forget about it until there is a new event. It's kind of anoying that all the events are on there now. I liked hunting down a place that had the newest event I was like the were the prize. Now, it is more convenient, but less fun

Yes,both. It's a nice addition to the games and really rounds everything up.

I use it for the Dream World once in a while, but mostly just for the free stuff like Pokédex skins/giveaways/etc.
