Welcome to the seventeenth instalment in the Video Games Forum's new weekly series of polls!

Centered around the Pokemon series of video games, these polls will be based on the various different aspects of the popular video game franchise. Every Monday, a Video Games staff member will post a new poll that'll remained stickied up on top of the forum. Suggestions for polls and questions can be sent to Joshawott, and they could possibly used for new polls (credit will be given, of course).

With that out of the way, here is the poll: Favourite Unova Gym Design? as suggested by Chimchar15. Unova's Gyms were known for having numerous designs as a fair few of them they were implemented into other buildings as opposed to being standalone, such as Striaton's restaurant, Nacrene's museum and Mistralton's air hanger - but which is your favourite?

MY favorite was the Opelucid City pokemon gym

simply love the way with the 2 dragon head coming out from it, adn how it long likes something really old...

Icirrus City's gym. I love the design and graphical effects found in many cold areas in video games, this was no exception, and the sliding-floor puzzles weren't confusing or annoying. Shame the leader himself was so damn easy, but at least the gym had no modern art nonsense, or a dangerous cannon which has likely killed many challengers.

Nimbasa gym! I loved the roller coaster ride. ^^

And I liked that it was inside an amusement park. :3

Opelucid City's Gym design has got to be one of the most original and unique ideas I have seen in a Pokemon Gym. I love the simplicity of walking on the raised Dragon platforms and the moving Dragon heads.

It really fits in with a Dragon Gym style and when I first walked into it I felt like I was going to battle a legendary Pokemon, or something even though it was a Gym lol.

While I like simple gyms like Striation, and puzzles like Nacrene, Opelucid takes the cake for most unique.

I like Nimbasa's and Opelucid's, but I need to hands down pick Mistralton City. I like the way the gym looked, and the idea of being shot out of a cannon, and sent flying into a wall.

My favorites were the popular Nimbasa, Mistralton, and Opelucid. The Roller coasters and lights were fun, as was cannon-flying into walls. I then thought Opelucid was cool, with its moving dragon heads. However, for the poll I picked Nimbasa simply because I'd freaking love to have that adrenaline rush right before a Gym Battle.

I love the flashy rollar coasters and neon designs of Elesa's gym. It was totally made to my liking.

Tied in second are the triplets' restaurant (very original and unique), and Skyla's airport.

Everyone else is in third except for Burgh's honeycomb. While it was very beautiful and all, I have to give it a thumbs down for taking too much time to get around because of the stickiness, and I dislike sticky stuff.

I'm probably the only one, but I liked Clay's the best. Not because it was complex or aesthetically pleasing or anything, but because it represented something important to Clay's past: that he battles underground to remind himself of what he came from, that he started at the bottom and had to work his way to the top. So his gym really reflects who he is and what he's overcome in life. I think that's really cool.

Plus, underground battles sound dangerous. I like it.

Mistralton's design is the most appealing to me,but Opelucid and Nacrene gyms are nice too.

Icirrus has to be my favourite. I've got a thing for sliding on the ice, and it being translucent made it that much better, not to mention the epic slide at the end of the battle!

Opelucid, with Nimbasa in a close second.

The dragons were a brilliant idea, and the atmosphere was perfect for a final gym.

I love theme parks. The end.
