Hello Everynyan! Welcome to the thirty-fourth instalment in the Video Games Forum's new weekly series of polls!

Centered around the Pokemon series of video games, these polls will be based on the various different aspects of the popular video game franchise. Now that the game has been released in Japan, yet The Pokémon Company International have already started hyping up Pokémon Black Version 2 and White Version 2, the future of this spin off is rather sketchy. I think the chances of it being localized are declining by the day, but I would really love to see it come here. It's a genre I quite enjoy and I think would be a great new way to experience Pokemon battles.
 
Since there have been comparisons drawn to the Final Fantasy Tactics games (just as I was hoping at the beginning) I would have to say yes. It looks like it will be a decent amount of fun, aswell as a nice change from the regular games.
 
Yes, very much so. I'm a huge fan of games like Fire Emblem, and a Pokemon Tactical RPG sounds like my dream game.

But seriously, why not, even if you're not interested? Many people will surely enjoy this title.
 
Not really to be honest I don't know why, but I if I had to guess it would be the mixing of two completely different genres into one game. I haven't even played the game yet, but I don't think I would like it probably because I'm worried that it won't feel like a Pokemon game.
 
I've seen a lot of support for this game, but the near silence during it's release was upsetting. I've love to see a localization, but I don't think there's enough interest to warrant it. I wish I could poll the entire fandom for this and find out once and for all. Now you might be saying "But what about the other fandom?" They like this game too, but they're not nearly as large as we are. What if we combined forces? I'd certainly like to see some way we could all band together. I'm not sure if even with their numbers we would have enough, but if someone can do it, it's worth a shot.
 
Yes I've been playing Fire Emblem a lot and really enjoying it, a Pokemon game with the same Kind of game play would be a lot of fun. I would really like to see it Here.
 
Although I don't know HOW they would be able to translate all that stuff properly, I would really like to see it in official English
 
Sure, I don't mind. After all, it would be one extra localised game in a genre that I actually like. It would be better that way, because understanding what's going on will be a lot easier, like how Professor Layton has more meaning when translated.

I have no intentions of playing this game, but I'm glad that it's being localized. Tecmo Koei developed it for over two years, which is unprecedented for a spin-off Pokémon game (but not for a Nobunaga's Ambition one). They deserve to benefit from the greater exposure.

I vote yes because the game really looks interesting for me to play (looks similar to Fire Emblem), but I guess it's too late now that it's already confirmed to be localized. I have a feeling that one of the past poll threads will be next to come true.
