So I'm just wondering what teams/strategies you are predicting or using to be used in the VGC's this year... for those who don't know, the rules are level 50 Flat Double Battles and only Gen 5 Pokemon

Personally I'm thinking there will be a lot of Trick Room Teams with Reuniclus (with Life Orb obviously), and Ferrothorn as the leads

Ferrothorn will not be a lead, it ruins any defensive momentum one has. TR, Tailwind, Sandstorm, and Maybe Rain Dance, Sunny Day, and Hail.

Yea I'm not sure why I put Ferrothorn on here I was thinking Reuiculus and Amoongus possibly as leads... but for a TR Team Ferrothorn, Jellicent, and Conkeldurr also make good teammates

Amoogus is a going to be starring in a lot of VGC battles. Anger Powder almost insures that Trick Room will go us. Ferrothorn has no place on a VGC team. Jellicent, and Conkeldurr will also star a lot in it.

Choice Band Ferrothorn could be used in Trick Room :p

What moves would it use? There is Power Whip and Gyro Ball. Then there could be level ground and Explosion, since it's power isn't high enough to beat pokemon without weaknesses (And Even then it would be unlikely), I don't think it would be used. Gyro Ball's high power wouldn't be as reliable since there is a high likelyhood of facing another TR team. Level Ground is it's only shot for steel types, it's not practical.

I was half joking...but it's not the most useless trick room attacker I could think of :p

Sorry about that, I just don't want the thread starter to think that it's an efficient pokemon to use. Most useless one I can think of would be Swoobat.

Yeah they are. Im running rain dance, which is kinda surprising, but best 2/3 screws it over, so I need to make a new team with 1/2 of that team.
