It's been said that Falcons QB Micheal Vick is set to plead guilty to the dogfighting charges. He has no one on his side since everyone else already either pleaded guilty or accepted plea bargins. But, will Vick ever play football again even if he's not convicted and accepts the plea bargain ?

No, I think this will make him a marked man and no team will want have his name next to theirs. Even if he's not suspended I don't think he'll again.

Plus, he's a member of Al-Qaeda. You can't recover from that.

Jonathan Lee Riches filed the handwritten complaint over "theft and abuse of my animals" on July 23 in the U.S. District Court in Richmond, Va.

Riches alleges that Vick stole two white mixed pit bull dogs from his home in Holiday, Fla., and used them for dogfighting operations in Richmond, Va. The complaint goes on to allege that Vick sold the dogs on eBay and “used the proceeds to purchase missiles from the Iran government.”

The complaint also alleges that Vick would need those missiles because he pledged allegiance to Al Qaeda in February of this year.

“Michael Vick has to stop physically hurting my feelings and dashing my hopes,” Riches writes in the complaint.

Riches wants $63 billion dollars “backed by gold and silver “ delivered to the front gates to the Williamsburg Federal Correctional facility in South Carolina. Riches is an inmate at the facility serving out a wire fraud conviction.
Lol at the part in bold.

Okay, maybe the accusations against Vick now have gone a little over-the-top.

I don't want to judge Vick before he actually faces trial or makes a plea bargain, but the evidence is stacked heavily against him. No matter what happens, I doubt he'll play again.

Well, Roger Goodel might need to make his decision until Vick kicks the bucket and either pleads guilty or accepts the plea bargain. It's only a matter of time.

And on another note, this dogfighting has been go on since Vick's rookie year ! (2001) 6 YEARS ! How could it last SO long and no ever realzied until June of this year ?

He's going to back himself in a corner and there'll be no way out...

I voted yes for him playing again because it seems like you get kicked out of sports for nothing short of genocide and procuring an alien invasion.

But I don't watch nor do I pay athletes with ticket money, so I don't care what they do.

You're completely right.

In fact, I'm surprised as many people admit he's guilty as there is. Whenever someone cares about animal cruelty, they immediately condemn someone who isn't a big name, but hesitate or ignore those who are famous who committed the same, or worse, acts.

The guy's career will hardly take a blow at all.

I hate reality.

Dogfighting has a much greater stigma. He'll bring the wrong kind of bad press to any team he plays for.

He's been doing this since his rookie year (2001), how could it last SO long and no one noticed it ?

They looked the other way. As long as it wasn't in the papers it was okay. But now that it's out it can't be denied.

He'll serve a suspension to save the NFL's face. When he comes back, if he plays well, all will be forgiven by the fans. After all, players accused of assaulting people, rape, and being accomplices in murder have been welcomed back with open arms by the fans.

So sad.

But he didn't commit rape, like those Duke Lacross players "did" and actually ended up not doing anything

But there have been OTHER sports stars who have. And do. And always will. When it happens, it just gets swept under the rug. Remember Kobe Bryant a few years ago? Remember the big scandal at Colorado University (or was it Colorado State?)?

But, Vick's been doing this for 6 YEARS ! That's why the US Court System is hounding him down really, really hard, unlike they did for all those other incidents

I think the girl finally confessed that she made up the rape charge.

As for the incident at Colorado, the rape charge was in the middle of revelations of a vast ring of whores, booze, and other recruiting corruption, so the outcome ( I don't even remember who got convicted) was lost in that.
