Awesome. I'll definitely be picking up the Blu-Ray.

I'm kind of surprised that we'll be getting two movies for the price of one here. I would have thought they'd charge more.

Glad to see it's a 2-disc set rather than selling each movie seperately (let's be fair, they probably could have gotten away with it)

As for the blu-ray *looks forlorn at my Region B player*. Shame it most likely won't be a Region A/B release (although the U.S. Heroes/Destiny Deoxys BD was Region A/B...so hopefully if the TPCi release it on Blu-Ray in the states, it'll be A/B). I doubt a Blu-Ray release would happen in the UK due to the slow adoption of BD here, and how anime on blu-ray is a cursed industry.

*shrugs* Still, the UK shares a DVD region with Japan; and I could still upscale it on my BD player...but I love the look of blu-ray cases xD

here in australia we will deffiantly get a blu ray version since movie 13 and 12 here are blu ray :D and movie 14 was ment to come out at the end of the year in blu ray and dvd form for australia but tcpi changed the date to early next year so magna has to wait.. and the reason was obviously it being in movie theatres

Well as PDP>P pointed out, we're likely to get Blu-ray releases of the two Victini movies in Australia at some point (seeoing as we've got Arceus and Zoroark Blu-rays), and those will obviously be Region B if you'r interested in importing the dub. And those BDs are of considerably better picture and sound quality than the Heroes/Destiny Deoxys double pack.

The best way to get an idea of whether the Japanese version will be region free is to look at other Blu-ray releases from the same publisher... but details about that may be scarce for a Japanese release. It's good to see them in a 2-disc set and not as seperate releases.

Indeed. I know a lot of UK anime fans in general import from Australia, considering that Manga UK, the UK's biggest anime distributor, actually uses the masters that Madman Entertainment have; just that Manga UK choose not to release a lot of shows on blu-ray. Only downside is the exchange rate. I already purchased the Zoroark movie DVD; but the Arceus Blu-Ray does sound like a treat.

If the US release isn't A/B (I know a good place to get U.S. releases imported) or the UK doesn't get a BD release, then Australian release it'll be.
