Victory Roads Art

Those are great. Very cool. ^^ That Absol & Eevee are my favs, and that Politoad is the best. ^^;

yeah, but i do draw them in pencil,scan them and CG them so they are not copying totally, cuz everything is done by me, but here is and origional pose what i just made..

Hmm, it's okay.

Original poses, original design, some backgrounds. I'm a very picky reviewer. Originality is a key thing. (Which means I fail generally 50% of the time.) I'd like to see a few group pictures from you, with original poses, and some sort of background; and when I say 'background', I don't mean white with a shadow.
You've got some serious potential, so use it!

Wee~ What program do you use? Everyone's right, nice pictures, but I would like to see some original poses. I mean, nice shading and all, yeah, but those pics I've already seen the officials of, so, it's kinda borin.

You strike me as the more technical kind of person who's not so much as good at drawing but more at computer stuff. I'm guessing you did the outlines with the pen tool or similar in Photoshop. Note, it's just an impression.

Do try some original poses though, but those are nice practice pics anyway... You can do it, break up the pictures and stuff...

LOL... not good at drawing? im in AP Art...
anyways here is a vulpix i drew w/a bg :) hope ppl are happy, origional pose and bg too :)
Also i use PSP7 i use the airbrush to sketch it out roughly then i use the pencil to do the outlines then the paintbrush to color..

*Clears throat* You're good from what I'm seeing, but with that attitude, I might want to place you next to the people who don't color and draw everything out of proportioned. You're pretty confident for a 15 year old, and a bit arrogant too.
I'm really pleased you drew a background, you did very well to incorperate the Vulpiz into it. But don't get too cocky. Doing so will not equal good learning experiences. Nice that you did show some skill. Bravo. Do you happen to have anything besides cg artwork on you? I'm really curious to see what else you can do.

lol...i dont mean to be cocky....btw im 17 not 15...
Here is one of my many car drawings...This was maybe a yr ago?? all my paintings and other drawings are too big for a scanner, i might be getting a digital camera though aslo, so when i get that ill take pics of my other work
This one was scanned at a copy place what has this giang scanner,lol,its 5 bucks for each one though, and it makes the image small so ill retake this pic w/ digital camera someday also..

This picture was also made for my other site (MKIII.net) and took about 1 month total

yeah its a drawing...its not the best...lol
Anyways here is a pikachu and i hate this one w/ a passion! lol his head and eyes look bad :(

You know, not to be mean or anything, but I'd expect smoother shapes, better colouring, original poses and better backgrounds if you were in AP Art... Sad to say some of my 14-year-old classmates could probably do alot better than that.

Unless it's problems you had outlining which in the end screwed up everything, well show us a scan of your hand drawn work at least, then I'll be convinced you're good. :p

Nice car drawing though. See, thats what I mean by technical, you can do the lines and whatnot of those kind of things really well... but a dratini is simpler and eh, what happened... I'm willing to believe its a drawing because I've seen those kind ofthings before, doesn't look TOO much like a diagram or picture... but I'm giving you the benefit of the doubt...

Well... i just started to draw and CG on the PC MONDAY... so i think they are pretty good, and all of my last ones are origional...

Still, at least I can not care about the outlines and CG, though even with the original poses, they're not really impressive... Trying not to sound harsh but eh, I wouldn't have expected the last pic to have come from an AP art student... and like I said there are quite a few other nice dratini poses and dratini's really easy to draw anyway (not like, uh, moltres or tyranitar) but I think you really would have done better ^_^;

And if all of those were just practice picture sort of things, then you should have said so earlier :p

Ehe, sorry about the age mix up VRoad. I had gotten no sleep the day I mentioned that. By the way, everyone seems to like to pick on the newbie... For some odd reason. Usually there has never been this problem. Maybe you're too good and we're jealous, or trying to judge whether or not your art deserves its acclaim. I'm really not certain, but I don't think we all mean to be so terribly hard on you... Actually, I usually am. I'm probably the cruelest person here, but it's truly a 'me' thing and if I make you mad, make a person cry, unfortunately it happens and I was likely in an awfully mean spirited mood.

I'm shocked to say the least, to see the cars. I'm trying to pinpoint the media used on it, my best bet would be inks or charcoal. Most likely inks since I know both my inks and my markers (which evidently are more closely related to inks than any other media) will come out like that if scanned. Although I'd love to know (since right now, I am jealous and want to see if I can even make a half decent job *sweatdrop*).
I can be a little lax on the CGing. It takes a lot of time and practice in order to render something half-decent with just a mouse or a tablet. I have about 110 tricks learned from friends and my own trial and error to at least render something moderately well. For say, straight mouse drawing, draw a preliminary (a sketch that puts the basic body shape down). Then draw the outline above it or on it (depending on what program you use). It will help with proportion and give guidlines to the pose. (Drawing straight, like eyes, head, without any guidlines is hard! It doesn't allow for accuracy either.) Although my best recomendation would be, to just CG straight from a scan.
Oh, as for the issue of "my pictures are too big", you could always scan them in pieces and put them together in an art program. I've done that with some of my pieces that are evidently too big to scan in one shot.
Overall, lots of practice with CG ('cause it would be cool to see you match the quality of the cars). Learn to scan pictures and paste them together (for the love of... please. It's a great skill to learn). And umm... I owe you an apology, for my hostility. Everyone else can speak for themselves if they wish.
