Watching it now. So far it's pretty cool, and I have to say this just affirms why I think Grunberg is the coolest cast member of all, what with him taking video on his phone and such and really getting into it. If you've not watched his commentary on the Heroes DVDs yet, you should.

EDIT: Wonder when the spoilers will start flooding the Internet.

EDIT AGAIN: That's it. I'm totally going blind so I can hug Milo.

FINAL EDIT: So it looks like the unaired episodes will be showing up on the Season 2 set, just as you predicted, GrnMarvl. Nice.

It's pretty cool, obviously they didn't show in that video clip of what I really wanted to see... Since they said they don't care about the spoilers I'd guess the flooding is probably any time now. I think I won't read them though(much at least)

I wonder how internationally popular the show is now that they mention it...

That girl was totally faking blindness. (JK, but that seems like an obvious con-job, lol)

I wonder, with showing axed characters at the Comic-con panel, is going to have them as still alive in the 3rd season... or will we just get a lot of flash-backs? (Or is that just a big tease to the fans? :p)

I always liked Grunberg. Mostly because he looks and acts almost EXACTLY like a friend of mine from high school. To a disturbing degree.

I'm surprised they HAVEN'T. Though, since the event only ended yesterday, I'd give it a day or so more. Or find a Heroes fansite that's extremely lax on spoilers.

I predicted that? I honestly don't remember doing so. But I'm not surprised that I did (not because it means I was right, but because it makes sense that they would). You have to give the cast and crew of Heroes one thing: They're good to their fans. And, it seems the fans are good to them.

I wouldn't be remotely surprised if she WAS faking. But there are certainly worse reasons to fake blindness (and, hey for certain female members of the cast...I'd do the same thing).

As I've been saying since season 1, this series has its roots in comics, and there's ONE rule and one rule ONLY about death: Nothing's certain unless you see the body. And, even then, don't count anyone out. Especially when you have an immortal with healing properties in his blood and another guy capable of recreating that power. And ANOTHER character with similar powers.

Back when the writers' strike was about to happen, you mentioned the unaired episodes and said "they'll probably show up on the season 2 DVDs" or something.

And on the Heroes LJ comm I'm on, it has been confirmed that
Nathan Petrelli is indeed alive. Which is a disappointment, given I was getting sick of him.

lol, that's not a very nice thing to say. Well, actually his death was to the level of cheapness to the likes of Capitan America, so I'm glad he's alive. The whole last episode of last season felt rushed (darn strike), so any attempts to salvage is welcome.

I don't know, the second season definitely wasn't as good as the first. (A lot of the plots didn't get as complex as they could have) However, I still like it more than all the other dramas/action-thrillers that are on regular television. And... it isn't about Doctors, Lawyers, or Cops. (Seriously, anybody claiming a new Lawyer program as fresh or original needs to be slapped across the face with a salmon)

What's really sad is how when it comes down to it, every "doctor" or "lawyer" show seems to have the same "ripped from the headlines" plot when all the other "doctor" or "lawyer" shows are doing that plot.

So help me God, if I see the Company doing experiments on stem cells at any point this season...

Hey, I remember watching that vid on Sunday. Are we allowed to discuss Season 3 spoilers in this thread?

You can if it's in a spoiler tag. That way people just wanting to discuss the video or general expectations for season 3 can without being spoiled if they don't want to (and, if they do, they can click the spoiler tag).

Ok cool.
Well I for one got really angry when I heard that Sylar got Claire's power. I know she survived and all but how many freakin' regeneration people do we need on the show?.

Speaking of the Season 2 DVD, when's it come out? I've only seen Season 1, lol.

It's around the 27th of August. Somewhere around the last week of August like the first season.

I got season one for Christmas so I didn't know when it had come out. But season two less than a month away? Nice. Thanks! ^_^

When did Sylar get Claire's power?

Apparently it was in the premeire episode. This is what I got from the people who apparently saw the premiere.

It starts in the future and Claire is about to shoot Peter, but he stops time and goes back. Future Peter's the one who shoots Nathan, because he was about to tell the whole world about their powers. Matt somehow figures out that something's wrong with Peter and confronts him about it. So future-Peter sends him to a desert area and as he walks, he sees the earth picture on a huge rock. Angela knows it's not really Peter because her power is that she can see peoples' dreams and stuff I think and asks him what he did with Peter. future-peter says he had to shoot Nathan because if he told the world, it would've ruined everything, and Angela tells him that he already ruined things by shooting Nathan and that everything is going to change now. At the end, the cell place where they keep the people with powers is shown with a guy screaming that he is Peter Petrelli and HRG hearing him.

Nathan was dead but is healed by Linderman, Nathan believes he saw god and tells Peter that they need to be god's angels. Linderman tells Nathan that they can do great things together.

Sylar goes to Claire's house for her power, and he takes her power and when he puts her head back to her body, she comes back alive. She asks why he doesn't kill her and he tells her it's beause she's special and different than the others and says he couldn't kill her even if he tried. He also tells her she's never gonna die and neither will he.

Hiro finds a tape that his father left him before he dies and in the video he talks about something in his personal safe that is important and Hiro needs to make sure it doesn't fall into the wrong hands. He gets it open and inside is half of some kind of formula. But Daphne snatches it out of Hiro's hands. He stops time and tries to catch her, but she can still move and she takes the formula with her. Hiro decides to go into the future to see what he has to do in order to save the world, and finds future Hiro and Ando fighting over the half sheet of the formula and Ando has some ability and shoots something at Hiro, and the buildings start collapsing. He goes back to the present, but he doesn't tell Ando, and just says they need to find that formula.

Maya finds Mohinder, but he tells her he can't help her. but Mohinder finally figures out a way to inject the powers into people and he injects it to himself, even though Maya wanted him to get rid of it, at the end you find out that he has super strength now because of it. You also see the earth picture on a building where he is.

Nikki is shown a little bit but I don't really remember her scene much. She's with some governor and they talk about Nathan as they watch him on TV.
I probably left some things out, but that's pretty much all I remember from it.

...

Holy shit.

Her head comes... off? Or just the top of it? Because if it's the first, I'm a little worried. Decapitation scares the shit out of me, and I want to know in advance if I should close my eyes when Sylar approaches Claire... (not to mention, I'm pretty sure you can't do that in the 9:00 slot on network TV.)

Is that all seriously going to happen in THE FIRST EPISODE?

I think its was just the top of it. At least from what I read here:
* Sylar removes Claire's skullcap and steals her invulnerability. She survives, of course.
* Sylar is repulsed by Claire's suggestion that he eats brains.

Apparently he just poked around her brain looking for the source of power.

Also, I think it might have been the first 2 episodes cuz the premeire was like 2/3 hours long .

Oh, phew. That's not as bad, and that didn't make sense either.

So I guess that more or less kills the fanon Sylar eats brains, doesn't it?
