Dante was looking at a ordinary looking marker sticking out of the ground in Sandjem. This actually showed where he buried his love, Vanessa. Holding a red rose, her favorite flower, he placed it on her grave and shed a tear.

Taik woke up uncomfortably again.
When will this mutation thing end?
It was the middle of the day, and he had just woke up.
I need to... I forgot what I needed to do.
He streched out his arm and wing, wondering what he should do. He was sitting behind a few trees, evidently.

Rava was walking through Sandgem, his hometown. He thought that he'd be happy to be back in his hometown but he found that he didn't really care. "All that matters," he whispered, "is taking down Team Galactic. For good."

Dante, after paying his respects to his deceased girlfriend, grabbed his katana Lobo Colmillo and walked away. His keen eyes scan the horizen.

Henna Slint was on assignment in Sandgem Town. She was supposed to find others who had after effects from the genetic experiments. The yellow haired girl noticed an unusual looking young man with a katana.
"Maybe he'll tell me if there are any mutants around here." she thought. Henna waved at the young man and flashed a smile. She was often mistaken for being younger than she was, this usually bothered her but she was hoping to be able to use it to her advantage now.

Looking around me, and somewhat out of the trees, I noticed I was in Sandgem.
Best not to be seen. I don't think people would like to see a person with a wing walking around. Embarrassing, too.
"Minute, Pluster," I said as I let the electric mice-like pokemon out.
"go check to see if any mean-looking people are out there."
And they headed out of the trees, scanning the town quite unnoticed. Not much.

Rava walked out of the Pokémon Center in Sandgem upset that he hadn't received any information about Team Galactic hideouts in the area. He decided to do a quick search of the nearby area himself before moving on.

Hariza walked out of the forest, heading into Sandgem Town.

Humph. I bet Team Galactic are here.

Hariza started walking into the pokémon center, and saw Rava straight away. "Hey, Rava! What are you doing?"

Rava turned towards the voice that had called his name reaching for one of his daggers but stopped when he saw it was Hariza. Rava replied in a voice that successfully hid all of his emotions, "Hello Hariza, I'm looking for any Galactic headquarters in the area."

Travis unsheathed Lobo Comillo, but stopped at seeing it was a fellow were-Pokemon. "You should scare people like that." He said, as he resheathed Lobo and strapped his sword to his side.

Pluster and Minute returned.
So, I should have a clear path to the pokemon center...
I started walking slowly toward the Pokemon center, hoping my pokemon were accurate with their tellings. Good thing I knew morse code. Electric shocks make good use of it.

Henna noticed it was a were-Pokémon and smiled deviously. She giggled and extended her hand "My name is Henna Slint." The stranger appeared to have had a blood donation from a Mightyena.

"Dante Cortez." He said, getting a sudden uneasy feeling from her but returned the gesture. He didn't like that smile. (Best be careful around her...)

"That's a lovely name! So what brings you to Sandgem?" she said bubbling with enthusiasm. Henna just knew her first solo mission would be succesful. The small girl was avoiding the thing that they shared however-after effects.

I felt nervous.
The last time I walked into a city.... Who knows when? If anyone sees me, they're probably gonna go crazy. "AhH! A PIDGEOT HUMAN!" Good thing this is a small town.
I looked through the window of the pokemon center. Someone's eye glinted as my eyes passed over the area. One of the people at least, was a were-pokemon.
I'd rather be one of them than this stupid hybrid-thing...

Henna was reading someone's mind bemusedly. She then saw whom it was out if the corner of her eye. Just to weird them out and let them know they weren't alone she yelled "Aah! A Pidgeot human!!"

"Paying respect to my dead girlfriend." He said bluntly. He was not one to sugercoat things, except to toddlers. (Eh?) He turned, and lo and behold, a Pidgeot were-human was there.

Rava's ears heard someone scream about a Pidgeot-human and he cursed pulling out one of his daggers and running outside. "Great," he muttered under his breath, "all I want is to have my revenge, why do I keep getting sidetracked? Now I have to get that Pidgeot-human out of here."

I stood there, staring at the person with a dagger.
"Err... Can a person who was forced to be put through genetic testing walk through a small town without being threatened?"
I put my human hand toward a sword at my side.
I hope I don't have to use this...

Rava grabbed his arm and whispered, "Get out of here, don't you know you're in danger out here in the open."
