In case anyone wanted to try out this series but didn't have an Xbox, Viva Pinata is coming out for DS and PC. The DS version, at least, will have extra species and landscaping options. Probably encompassing the arctic pinatas featured on the show but absent from the game. If anyone is a fan of Sim games like Zoo Tycoon or Animal Crossing, these are pretty amazing and I highly recommend them.

THis will probably sell better then the 360 version ironically.

I heard it was, but Xbox 360 owners aren't that type to buy then game.

It sold horribly.

this was one of the few games that made a 360 tempting to me.... now its Blue Dragon and the surge of other JRPGs supposedly coming up.

I had wanted to get this even though I dislike the cartoon, but the screen I saw looked like a GBA game. Hopefully it's just a bad shot.

The cartoon is really nothing like the game at all. I'm totally puzzled by it.

I have one thing to say: What... the... flying... fuck?

You've got to be KIDDING me!

The Cartoon has a horse that sounds like Yami Yugi.

It has the Pokémon narrator too. :p The cartoon never got my interest but my interest in the game has been renewed by this news.

Yeah, Dan Green's voice definately suits Hudson much more than Yami Yugi or Knuckles...

...anyway, I may check the DS version out. It looks good, and I liked the Sim games on my PC...but Animal Crossing bored me within the first five minutes.

Looks like a port. . .

I'm not bought. The superior experience for this game still looks like the Xbox 360 version. . .

And I'm sure the PC version will probably have more depth than the DS version, so I don't think I'll be touching the DS version. Unless it happens to be somewhat phenomenal.

We'll see later down the road.
