Suggestion VM's--modified perhaps?

Well, I, and many other members, like VMing each other, right? Well, I was thinking... would it be possible to have an option that allows us to delete ALL our old VM's?

Currently we have a soft-delete option, which allows us to delete VM's, one page at a time (there's so many @_@) but leaves a message saying 'VM deleted by Hallowheart for _reason_. Very annoying. I dunno about you, but I'd like the ability to just clear out my entire VM history. That'd be nice...

Also, regarding VM's, how about a little search box? Sometimes people get talking, and there's a bit of conversation you want to remember, but you're not gonna save EVERYTHING to your computer or you might forget to save it, and you wind up forgetting what it is. Rather than scrolling through pages upon pages of VM's, a search box would be nice =3. Thus, whatever we manage to forget we can locate again.

I dunno, those are just my ideas.

The problem is, we like keeping these VMs around (soft-delete only) in case there's an issue with them.

That way, you can't post some ridiculous message to someone, hard-delete it, and pretend it never happened.

No, I think you always have to see the soft deleted messages. Otherwise you wouldn't be able to undelete them.

I meant like an optional thing in the user settings since my university's email only soft deletes the emails until we purge them, but we have the option to "hide" the soft deleted emails.

I think if there were a way to, the ability to clear out VMs older than a certain time (soft-delete, at least) would be nice... especially all at once.

Yes. I mean, I'm talking about extremely old messages from way back when that are useless. If we could delete things after a certain time period (say half a year or more??) then it'd be a little better. I'm pretty sure no one is going to be attempting to delete a message from over a year ago because suddenly it might get them in trouble.
