Wahington sent down a Boeing 747 over NY

I hate the people who thought that people wouldn't pay mind to a giant 747 in the sky followed by a fighter jet circling the Statue of Liberty. Yeah guys. After 7 1/2 years people developed this Sunnyvale syndrome, right?

Who in the government thought this would be a good idea!? At least notify the public, and really if they wanted a photo-op for the plane, couldn't they just photoshop it? -.-

Wow. What the hell are they even thinking to do that over New York? I mean, there are plenty of other big cities they could decide to do this over that WEREN'T plane-terrorist'd.

That was a really stupid thing to do just for a photo-op. I mean it seems that they acted like no one would be nervous and scared of a plane maneuvering around New York in that way. *Facepalm*

Come on, they should really think about things like this before they go ahead with such things and if they had, this situation would have been different than it was. If they really wantrd to do it, couldn't they have told people first it was going to happen? If they could not do that, they would not said what it was afterward. It would have stopped the panic in the long run. I can understand completly how the people of NY might have felt seeing that. If I was there, I'd probably felt the same thing after what happened at 9/11

I love how Bloomberg was ready to curse the shit out of them. Oh and being A 9/11 witness and having family members who survived the event(like my dad he was supposed to go down to the towers for some work but instead of going there first then Brooklyn he went Brooklyn then there so yay!) if I saw the plane I would have just fainted from the sight of it.

Hmm...LOL Photoshop it. XD

But just shows you how the military gets too much money to spend. D:

At least tell people about the frekin' "Photo OP" =/

And we pay for this!

As bad as this was, I absolutely LOVE how the government is playing dumb about it. You're telling me they used Air Force One to pull off this little stunt, yet nobody in the higher office had a clue it was going on? NOBODY? Ya freaking right. If nobody really did know about it, then what does that say about our government? Either they're liars and made a really dumb decision, or our security about this stuff is extremely low. No matter how you look at it, things turned out bad.

heard about this on the news...talk about lack of communication. that would suck to be there (and be from NY no less) and see a low-flying plane...i would have peed myself.

Obama was actually furious over this. Wonder if Dubiya would have the same reaction. *rolls eyes*

^He'd be soooooo proud our military was showcasing the planes. He'd probably fly them himself

But, this was seriously uncalled for. At least, warn the people before doing the photo-op.....why in the hell did they even NEED a photo-op? For that matter, why do it over in a city? A country setting would have sufficed.

Gives the other branches of service more fuelto call the Air Force a bunch of week sissies who need pics to look good.

Photo was released, and aide has resigned. All that money, for a photo. >.<

Yeah all that money wasted for a photo that they could have warned people that they were going to take.

Yeah all that money wasted for a photo that they could have easily photoshopped.

They're probably feeling down now about all that money they wasted for the photo. Feeling down is just my guess, but I would've conserved that money.
