Wait.......If You Can Have Notched Ear Pichu, Will There Be Notched Ear Pikachu?

So, would there be Notched Ear Pikachu? If there was, Pikachu would have four different forms......Normal, Female, Shiny and Notched Ear. Please post your thoughts on this.
 
Oh, wow. Let's just go create another species of pokemon why don't we?

Pichu. Why did it have to be Pichu?
 
Because Pokemon and electric rats will always to hand in hand.

I assume it would evolve into a normal Pikachu, encouraging players not to evolve it, or maybe an evolution lock like in yellow.

"Female" and "shiny" aren't really different formes. If that were true, almost every Pokemon would have several formes.
 
They are never "Different Formes" just gender differences.....
 
I'm pretty certain that the notched ear is just a design quirk to make this Pichu unique.

Also why Pichu? It's only the baby form of the franchise's mascot. Strangely, it's been treated as a normal Pokémon rather then as wildly popular as it's older form. People love the supercute so yeah, let's introduce a Cousin Oliver for Pikachu.

The shiny event Pichu is holding an Everstone, so the Notched-ear one will probably have it too. Or then a Grepa Berry, who knows.
 
Game Freak did imply a breeding overhaul in HGSS. Who knows, maybe special conditions (breed X with a Y nature with a female Z with a W nature) lead to special-looking babies.
 
Well even with the new breeding overhaul the NEP will still be unique in loks, or that would be stupid if you could breed two or more NEP. But maybe the Male Shiny PCP and Female NEP can breed with eachother and produce a special Pichu that is unique?

Well I can see the pikacu and Raichu having a special ear too, but it will look different in each evo, as Pikachu has thin ears and raichu has wider and a bit curly ones.
 
How does everyone think the Notched Ear Pichu will be distrubuted?

They've already confirmed it: for Japan, at least, it's an in-game event in HGSS activated using the shiny Pichu distributed at theaters for Movie 12.

And I feel I have to point out that there is no confirmation at all that we'll actually be able to obtain it, instead of just seeing it.
